How do you move on after losing the person you love? How do you rebuild your life from scratch?
Louisa Clark is no longer an ordinary girl. After spending six months with Will Traynor, she struggles to make it without him. When an incredible accident forces her to return to her family home, she feels like she's right back where she started.
Her body is healing but her soul needs help. And so Lou ends up in the basement of a church with the members of a support group where she shares thoughts, laughter, and tears. There she will meet Sam Fielding, the paramedic who saved her, the only one who can understand her. And then a figure from Will's past will appear and upend her plans, leading her to a different future...

It is a pretty good book. However, it does not compare to Me before you in any way. The beginning and the end were very nice and made you reconsider many things. However, there was no action in a quite large part and it was very boring for its standards. I did not like most of the events that the author added, but in the end, everything fit perfectly together. But you understand from the first pages that one book does not have the same style as the other. In the first one, Lou is somehow presented as having overcome Will's death, but in the second one, everything starts off very melancholic, which I liked because Jojo Moyes has the ability to not make melancholy too heavy in her books, but rather sweet. Obviously, the author did not have in mind to write the sequel when she first released Me before you. Nevertheless, it was a pretty good and light book. Suitable for ages 12+, it conveys good messages.
