Description

The MSI GeForce GT 710 2GB GDDR3 is an entry-level graphics card aimed at users seeking an economical solution for basic graphics needs.

With GDDR3 memory technology and 2GB capacity, this card can handle everyday tasks such as web browsing, video playback, and running simple graphics applications.

MSI is known for the quality and reliability of its products, and the GeForce GT 710 is no exception. Performance and reliability, this card is suitable for users looking for a simple and reliable graphics solution for everyday use.

GeForce Experience

Capture and share videos, screenshots, and live streams with your friends. Keep your drivers up to date and optimize your game settings. GeForce Experience allows you to do all that. It is the essential companion to your GeForce graphics card.

Based on the GeForce GT 710 GPU (GK208-203-B1), it is clocked at 954MHz and incorporates many of NVIDIA's new graphics technologies for casual gaming, multimedia, and office applications.

With 2GB of DDR3 memory (64-bit) at 1600 MHz, as well as compatibility with DirectX 12 API and OpenGL 4.5, you can enjoy digital content and casual games with flawless graphics.

With a 64-bit memory bus width, higher performance is achieved because, simply put, a larger volume of data (64 bits of data per clock cycle) can be transferred to and from the memory.

NVIDIA PureVideo HD Technology The combination of high-definition video decoding acceleration and post-processing, NVIDIA PureVideo HD Technology provides stunning picture clarity, smooth video, accurate colors, and precise image scaling for movies and videos.

TrueHD and DTS-HD Audio Bitstreaming Full support for advanced multi-channel HD audio codecs TrueHD and lossless DTS-HD brings the rich sound of the master recording to your living room.

NVIDIA PhysX

Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology allows for an entirely new class of game physics interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience.

NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync

Adaptive Vertical Sync is a technology used in graphics cards to optimize game performance. The main function of Adaptive Vertical Sync is to address the issue of "screen tearing" that occurs when the screen's refresh rate does not match the game's frame rate.

Adaptive Vertical Sync increases the screen's refresh rate when the computer can deliver a higher number of frames per second, while it decreases the refresh rate when the computer's performance is lower. This helps to avoid screen tearing, while maintaining smooth performance and avoiding "stuttering" or noticeable performance drops in games.

NVIDIA FXAA

FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing) is an anti-aliasing technique developed by Nvidia. It is used in the graphical display of games and graphic applications to reduce the visibility of jaggies and unwanted edges (aliasing) on the screen.

The FXAA technique works analytically, applying an acceleration filter to the image to reduce edges and provide a smoother and more natural display. Instead of using computationally precise methods, FXAA focuses on speed and efficiency, making it ideal for use in games and computers with limited resources.

It was purchased for an old computer from the decade so that it could be connected to the TV via an HDMI cable. The truth is that it significantly improved the image quality and works much better with high-resolution videos on YouTube, compared to the integrated graphics card that the computer had before. It definitely is not suitable for modern games and the lack of a cooling fan is also a disadvantage, but for the 43 euros it was purchased for, as a small upgrade for an old computer without specific demands, it will do its job perfectly.

For the 3 months that I used it, it was a tolerable experience but not bad. For light gaming like Minecraft, TF2, and other games before 2011, it's okay. Don't even think about using it for anything heavier than that because it lags. It also has passive cooling which is silent but it will heat up quickly, especially in a case with poor airflow. Overall, it's an okay card for browsing and work, but don't get it for gaming, editing, modeling, or rendering

I have this specific card for almost 2 years. It's fine for upgrading an old computer and regular use (office work, media consumption, etc). It can run games, but only up to a certain point. Don't expect high performance. It's good for basic gaming on low and mid settings with decent fps. Personally, I got it to upgrade my 2013 PC without spending too much money. It can handle games like Rocket League (around 40 fps, low settings), Minecraft (120 fps with Optifine), and other less demanding games that the processor's graphics (Intel i5 3330) can no longer handle. With today's GPU prices, it's definitely worth getting something else if your budget allows it. You can find much more powerful graphics cards for around 130-150 euros. But for 50 euros, it's not that bad.

Well the card is great and definitely worth its money. It's a card that costs ONLY 50€, what do you expect, for it to reach 500fps? No, it won't reach that, it will reach 60fps though with overclock on high settings and 1080p resolution. I think it's great for a card that costs only 50€. It can play all games, just don't be too demanding and set them to ultra. Also, I honestly can't understand when you're bothered by 60fps. There's minimal difference between 60 and 100fps, the problem would be if it was 15-20fps, and even then many people wouldn't have a problem. So, in a game I understand that you set everything to low and 360p just to go from 100fps to 120fps, come on. The card is worth it, I highly recommend it. I've been using it in a PC with a 240w power supply for 6 months and it's been great. So, the minimum 300w power supply requirement is not true. 5 stars for the card!

So I see some people saying it's worth the money and that it has decent graphics, but this card is not worth even 20 euros. The fps is very bad, with Fortnite fps being consistently low at 40-60, GTA 5 can handle high settings at 30-40 fps, but not online or GTA RP. Sea of Thieves runs at low settings at 30-20 fps, and League of Legends reaches up to 120+ fps only with difficulty. CS:GO runs at low settings at 40-50 fps. It's not worth getting it for gaming, only for work

For Zoom and Cisco WebEx, it is quite good. I haven't tried it for games. It has been installed on an old computer with an SSD and it runs Office 2013 comfortably, as well as YouTube 1080p and some movies from Plex 1080p/8Mbps and Netflix HD. The package also includes brackets for installation in smaller cases.

Well, for an old PC like mine, it's a resurrection. Due to the prices prevailing in the market now, I can't afford to build a new PC, so I had to fix this one. With the latest drivers, it can play almost all games at 60fps 1080p (all low settings).
    CS:GO: 1080p (all low) 60-70fps in-game
    Dota 2: 1080p (all low) 45-60fps
    Minecraft: 1080p 60-100+fps
    LoL: 60-100 fps
    osu!: 60-100 fps

The card is very good for its price, it can play Fortnite at 720p 50fps, PUBG Lite at 60fps, LoL at 150fps, and CS:GO at 60fps-100fps at 720p. It can also handle RP games with 30-40fps. It is a cheap and very good card, but I do not recommend it for people who want to play the newest games because it was released in 2014. It is a great solution, congratulations to NVIDIA, but I would recommend the GT 1030 2GB when the prices become reasonable!

A mid-range graphics card is not suitable for heavy use, but it is worth it if you want it for simple use and light gaming like LoL and GTAV, although I would not recommend it because it raises the temperature quite high in GTA, reaching 70 degrees, so it requires caution

After 3 years of use, the card continues to function perfectly both in games (GTA V 45 fps, CS GO 60-80 fps, ETS2 35-49 fps, all at low graphics and 768p), as well as in everyday computer use. It is worth 100% of its money. The only negative is that with overclock (Core +350, Memory +185) it reaches very high temperatures (85-90 degrees). However, in 2021 it is very difficult to keep up with new games, so what I personally recommend for low budget gaming is to allocate some extra money and go for GT 1030 or RX 550.

The card is perfect for its price. The most important thing.
So I got it for now to do my job until I get a good one.
Gta 4 full graphics (60fps) ok
Gta 5 medium graphics (50-60 fps) perfect. It also works with full graphics but it kind of lags on my computer
    (I3 2100 3.1 ghz, 4gb ram and gt710 2gb)
Sims 3 full graphics incredible image.
Call of duty 2 also incredible. Except for gta, I used to play them without graphics but now the experience has changed.
Youtube permanently on 1080p... before it was 720p. It can handle 4k, it just takes a little longer to load at the beginning and then it's fine. But 1440p is instant.
If you just want to do your job, it's definitely worth it. If you want heavy gaming, it's better to go for something else.

I bought it for €40 vfm. Quiet and low temperatures, it easily plays games like Lol at high 60fps and older generation games like ps3. Don't expect newer games to run smoothly unless they are on the lowest graphics settings, the drivers improve its performance so it's good to always have the latest ones. Overall, it's a card for basic use, to get the job done, don't expect much from the card, it wasn't made for gaming

Well, if you're into old games on an old computer, let's say from 2008 like the one I have, it works perfectly fine with PES 2012. It also runs PES 2016 on medium graphics without any problems. In general, it's good for games from 2013 and below, like some old Call of Duty or Need for Speed games. Maybe even a game like League of Legends from the newer ones, but that's about it. For me, it's not worth it because the 1030 graphics card, which costs around 70 euros, can be found in some second-hand stores for 60 euros

So I have had the card for a few months, and I am using it because my old one broke and I needed to save money, so I wanted a simple card. It handles moderate Video Editing and Photoshop, I did a test for editing in 4K and it was okay but I don't expect more for its price. I also tried some games.

    GTA V (Low 720p 50fps)
League Of Legends (Medium 1080p 90fps)
    Minecraft (Medium no shaders 60fps)

From the beginning, Windows displays strange colors and shadows that never go away. The company I bought it from told me that I need a bigger power supply. I have 500 watts and in the description they say at least 300 watts, so I'm fine. Why don't they mention 600 watts in the description?
I tried with another motherboard, but it's the same. I tried different drivers, nothing. I can't play games, nor see the screen clearly. I took it out myself and threw it away.
Such a waste of money I spent.

The specific card is not intended for users who play AAA Games (Fortnite, PUBG), it performs satisfactorily in games before 2016 with approximately 60-50 fps (Minecraft, CS:GO). For someone who needs a basic output for home use, it is just what they need, as long as they don't want an external power cable, it is low-profile and fits comfortably in an old 2008 HP case. In temperatures, while the card is idle, it reaches a maximum of 50 degrees, and in gaming, it reaches a maximum of 68 degrees (I have very poor airflow, so if you have a case with good airflow, expect better results).

For older games like Mortal Kombat, Pro Mame, LoL, etc., it is ideal. I had it in the living room for such games when friends came over, and I mostly had it just for movies because, as I mentioned before, I had the PC in the living room and mostly for movies.
Don't expect to play PUBG and Fortnite with this card, it's not possible.

For 40 euros, it's a beast. I have it in a system with an i3 2120 and 12gb of ddr3 ram and it runs pubg on low with some medium settings at 30 fps, which is highly satisfactory for its price. For someone who wants it as a temporary solution, I highly recommend it. Lastly, for 4k, it needs to be connected with an HDMI cable. Update: After a year, due to a driver update, the card became useless and a waste of money. Even though I changed the processor (to an i5 2500k), which improved performance, it still remained useless. The only positive is that now this system works as a TV in the living room, and the card allowed me to utilize its 4k function. If you want a cheap graphics card, get the gt 1030, or if you're building a PC with a very low budget, get a Ryzen 3 3200g

  • I have had this graphics card for a year and a half. It is very good and worth its money for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot. However, lately it has started to lag... like when I was playing F1 2018 with 50 fps, suddenly my fps dropped to 21 and there was a lot of stuttering! Despite that, it is excellent.

Do not be fooled by the orange, its card for money is a diamond, it runs Lineage 2 full of people playing with any card, somewhere in csgo it starts to lose, with extremely low graphics, i3 8100 and 4 gb ram cannot handle the game so look for something around 1030-1060 for that

I've got it and I put it in a poor system with celeron 1150 and gigabyte H81 motherboard that I use for surfing, downloading, and occasionally watching videos/web TV or movies.
The picture on my PHILIPS 43PUH4900 43'' LED 4K ULTRA HD TV has improved much more compared to the previous graphics card I had...
Even though it's economical, it's worth it!
