It would be convenient if it had a vertical strap, especially for use on the legs.
The case with the scratches is likely to wear out faster than the ice pack.

It worked for me, it is a gel ice pack that freezes in the freezer, and then placed in a fabric cover before applying it to the foot or wherever there is a problem. Both are included in the package. I have purchased the product for 6 months now and I use it frequently. So far, all good.

I bought it for the first time in 2010 for the rehabilitation of a torn ligament and since then we have been using it several days a week as an ice therapy after sports. It hadn't suffered any damage until now, when the gel started to come out, and I will replace it with the same product. Okay, it endured 12 years of hardship. And the case's Velcro still holds.

I have it since 2017 and I use it if not every day, 2-3 times a week, both hot and cold. And it still holds up except for the scratches on the outside that have worn out over the years.

In shoulder fracture and wrist tendinitis, it proved to be a lifesaver. The Velcro, if used continuously, will eventually lose its grip like all Velcro. Its replacement is nothing.

I only evaluate it in the cold, as I haven't used it in the warm. It needs to thaw for at least 20 minutes after freezing to be used. I'm not so sure about the bag's durability, it's quite thin, but in my case (knee problem), it did a very good job. I will come back again after 3 years (23/08/2019) to add that I still use it. In the end, it's worth its money and it withstands time. I highly recommend it. Tip: As soon as you take it out of the freezer, use it immediately. In the end, there's no need to wait as I had previously written. :)

The gel bag, when frozen, becomes quite rigid and almost completely inflexible, even in the freezing of a star. It needs to stay out of the freezer for a while to regain flexibility and be usable. Additionally, for its price, one would expect something more than the gel being in a cheap bag that can easily tear.
