Metamorphosis

Every night
I start complete with good weather,
with fingers dipped in honey,
lips washed with stone,
blind.
Plowed with self-denial,
I carve the bed of your chest
with fiery tongue
and in the morning,
I transform into a soft, blonde and imperceptible fuzz.

The Great Furrows is a poetic collection dedicated to the female breast. In his third poetic collection, Giannis Paskos writes about the female breast and its multiple meanings. The breast, beyond being a source of inspiration, is one of the first encounters between humans. As always, as a "signifier," it leads each of us to existence, to the world of symbols, and to the liberating image that constantly declares the vital desire and similarity of the female nature with the cosmic nature.
