  Although I have bought another umbrella from this company and it turned out to be very good, this specific umbrella is unacceptable. On the third time I used it, the base broke without any wind or anything, I just opened it and it broke. Truly unacceptable construction and definitely not worth its money.

  It looks good, but I haven't tested it in extreme conditions or for a long period of time.

  1) The base does not screw into the sand, so you need to find an alternative solution, like the mentioned hammer in other comments. I used a screw base from Jumbo that I had on hand, and it worked well.
  2) The screw for the two poles broke off in my hand. It was stuck with a terrible silicone that had almost liquefied due to the heat. It's ridiculous because it should have been screwed or factory welded.
  3) I would give it 4 stars if it had the option to tilt the pole like other umbrellas.
  4) When you lay it completely flat, you have to come up with a trick to secure it so that the pole doesn't lift. Both parts of the pole could have a hole, so that the bottom part stays vertical in the sand and the top part can easily attach to it. If it had that, it would deserve 5 stars.
  5) The difficult transportation is a major drawback. Even in my SUV, it doesn't fit in the trunk when laid flat. Of course, it's somewhat expected for such a large umbrella

  And the 3 we had bought broke at the top wire, it's not something special in terms of repair but just the disappointment that they broke after 20 uses.... If you want it for this year, okay, but if you want to have it for years to come, it's not suitable for you

  Last year we used it for 3-4 baths. This year it broke on the first bath as we were opening it (it had air) at the round point where the rays are connected with wire. We had the EXACT same experience as the user nopasaran's previous review. It cannot be repaired. 50 euros wasted. Also, it does not fit in the huge trunk of the Ford cmax and could only fit sideways in the back seat

  Very good umbrella, I have it for 5 years, the handle at the bottom was plastic and broke in the first uses. With a sturdy handle it stands tall and is not good if it blows a lot (5-6 Beaufort), I put it low with pegs and it was fine even with stronger wind! This year the wires that hold the ribs broke, I replaced them myself and it is ready for use again!

  It is a product that covers me from the sun during my stay at the beach. It is used almost daily for a period of 2 months in Crete and Gavdos with strong winds and it still holds up. Some modifications should be made to the pegs and the pole should be replaced with a sturdier one. The only tents that withstand the beach wind are this one and the salty tribe.   Champika Beach in Rhodes. 6 Beaufort western wind. All the beach umbrellas, even those of the shops, are closed. Ours stands proudly with the windows and shutters open. Of course, we also bought the sturdy base from the same company, which is like a knife and costs around 7 euros. We will never pay for an umbrella on the beaches again. Highly recommended.

  I bought it last year and used it 5 times with normal air, it seemed fine to me and I liked the little pegs and windows it has. This year, on the first use, as soon as I opened it, it broke in my hands. The part that you push upwards to open the umbrella completely broke. That's where all the spokes connect with each other. For the money I paid, I expected something more. Also, the plastic screw on the pole that goes into the sand came off right away.

  Very good construction, excellent resistance to wind, large shade. One disadvantage which can be "fixed" is that it does not combine with a hammer handle unless you cut the clamp, as it is not on the detachable handle but on the umbrella frame, resulting in it not fitting into any hammer. It requires a 32 mm hammer handle when you cut it. Other than that, it is very good and I recommend it.

  Very good choice, it has a very satisfactory size and provides ample shade for comfortably fitting 4 people. An extra tip is that you can remove its own pole, which will definitely break after a few uses, and replace it with a larger sturdy pole. To do this, simply remove the screw that is attached to the umbrella pole and insert it into the sturdy pole, which requires a larger diameter than the umbrella pole.

  Very high quality in construction overall, except for the bottom part of the plastic screw that goes into the ground. It had only been used 3 times on sandy beaches, and on the 4th time when I tried to screw it in, the plastic broke. As a result, the umbrella cannot be used and now we are looking for a solution with insertable hammer handles that we are not sure (according to the store where I bought it) if they fit.
