Another good thing besides its cheap price, there is none. It is an oil that definitely does not last more than 5000 kilometers, especially for those who drive within the city. If the changes are made there, it is barely worth it. If you plan to keep it for 7 to 7500 kilometers or more and you care about the longevity of your engine, you can go for more reputable brands such as eneos, liqui moly, castrol, etc. I would not buy it again
With Insignia, I used to put Castrol but it was burning it. With this one, I'm fine. I always change them before summer as I have the car as a second one. I haven't needed to top it up yet, even if I push it to the limit
190k km only this in Astra H OPC has never needed to fill oil, following the services. The engine is in excellent condition, many accuse it, but you don't change a winning team.
Average oil, I put it in a Meriva 1.6 for the first 200,000 kilometers, after the installation of LPG it was clearly insufficient. I tried various ones and now I use Liqui Moly Top Tec 4600. Now I have 400,000 kilometers. The viscosity always remains the same, change at 8,000-10,000. GM oils don't last more than 5,000, they need a top-up. Liqui Moly easily goes over 10,000.
From the first day, I have been using this product for 300,000 km and it does not burn a drop of oil. I change it every 10,000 km. Opel Astra j
Leave it to the neighbors next door who know everything from nuclear physics to what oil to use. Read the manufacturer's book. Opel insignia 250,000 km, that's what Opel engineers say, that's what I'm putting. Very good price, changes every 10,000 km, normal driving and all is well.
In my workshop, they suggested this, I'm not sure if it's suitable for gasoline engines, I don't think I'll keep it for more than 5000 km.
370,000 km and I have no problem with changing every 10,000 km and of course at a super price. This is what the manufacturer recommends. OPEL COSRA D
I used it twice on an Opel Astra K (2019) diesel 1.6. The first time I changed it at 10,000 and the second time at 15,000. I believe that if someone uses it and changes it every 10,000, without putting too much pressure on the car (hard accelerations, driving in the city in the summer, etc.), they will be satisfied. At 15,000, when I changed it, it was almost burnt, so I consider it average as an oil.
I put them in dust oktavia bad it doesn't do anything compared to the pot I put, not the monkey can't be compared, whatever expensive you put can't be compared, this specific one is 15 euros per liter
For the past 18 years, I have been using this car (Opel Vectra c) and it has 185,000 km on it. So far, everything is good.
I do not have much experience, but these are the recommendations of the opel manufacturer, and I have been using them for 5 years without any problem in the engine of my opel CORSA cdti 1.3. When the engine is cold (especially in winter), it makes a louder noise that stops after 1-2 minutes, which I consider normal.
10 stars from me! I have driven 500,000 km with Opel Astra H Z17-DTH without any problem... it didn't burn a drop!!
I put it in my insignia 1.6T and I am not satisfied at all. I thought it was good because it is genuine, but Opel seems to use whatever is cheaper compared to other dealerships. I saw it in a test video and the lubrication was a joke. I replaced it directly with liquid moly top tec 4600 because the specifications state that it is suitable for engines with gas and since I have gas in my car, I preferred it for that reason.
It is installed in a forged Z16let for 2 changes now and I consider it the best value for money. Features, at 5100km it has burned a maximum of 100ml of oil in an engine that has been driven hard. They were replaced with equally good Liqui Moly.
Very good oil at a very good price for specific OPEL machines and not only. Each oil differs with its characteristics, not just the basic example 5W-30, but what the oil contains inside that your engine needs. Pay attention to what you are buying
The main reason to choose it is its price, as it is very cheap compared to well-known options in the market, and it is a tested solution for Opel. It is suitable for GM's Family 0 engines (Corsa, Astra, Meriva, Agila, etc., with the well-known ecotec, etc.), but I do not know about the more modern engines that Opel now has from the PSA Group (Peugeot) and what applies to lubricants. It also meets other specifications, mainly for VW models. In Corsa D (Z12XEP) & Astra H (Z14XEP) that I have personal experience with, it does its job, you won't need to top it up, and if you do need to, it will be a small amount, it generally doesn't burn.
Friendly advice, change the oil at around 10,000 km, and change it every year, even if you drive fewer kilometers.
For more expensive alternatives, from my perspective, look towards Liqui Moly Molygen or Top-Tec 4600 (recommended) or Eneos Premium Hyper, always speaking in terms of 5W-30.
For its price, it is very good and high quality. The engine works more quietly and the oil remains high quality until the end. Astra J diesel
Given that this is the lubricant recommended by OPEL for their engines and considering its low price, I believe that any negative comment is unnecessary.
I am not an expert in car oils. I don't see anything changed from the previous condition of the engine, but it is probably a little quieter and maybe a little smoother... in my Opel Zafira that I use them. The price is definitely good.
High specification oil from General Motors. I have been using it for 14 years and my engine (Z18XER) works perfectly!
Owner of Opel Vectra 2008, I replaced the Castrol 5-30 C3 full synthetic with these, after 3000 km I can't say that I was impressed, the engine noise is more, the car doesn't roll like with the Castrol, I'm not 100% sure about their quality, maybe because they are very cheap, I will probably put Castrol again. After the Castrol, I ended up with Liqui Moly Top Tech 4600.
Good cheap oil and it is the same one that Opel uses at the dealership. I had it on my Corsa D 1.2 and I changed it relatively quickly because the car had a modified engine and I wanted to get rid of the grime from the immobilized engine. I put it back and it works great.
Anything else you put in your Opel that meets the dexos2 specification is much better than this juice. The difference with Castrol Edge C3, AmsOil European Car Formula, REDLINE EURO SERIES, Valvoline SynPower MST C3 in 5W-30 is evident even from the sound. While BMW and Ford have top-notch lubricants for their fleet, GM offers one of the worst lubricants. Neither good protection against wear, nor good resistance over time. I feel sorry for those who keep it for more than 10,000 km...
