Distilled from the 498 surviving letters from Renu's mother to her soldier son (along with Renu's own notes between the lines), it is a valuable testimony of how people felt in the aftermath, but also a second reading, essentially, of the most important book of the Civil War by the author himself, with a simultaneous reevaluation of many defining events, which gained a completely different significance in the years that passed. Fiery poetry of the heart, directly expressed in its closest heart that is in mortal danger, in her child, speaks to the hearts of both the simplest and the illiterate.

The Whirlwind
A road narrative from Germany to Greece through the snowy Balkans becomes an occasion for successive temporal shifts of a monolithic consciousness from the past of the Civil War to the present of "peace", which operates undivided, feverishly, and this, instead of being burdensome, is relieving for the recipient, like a revelation, how: "oh, yes! Indeed, that's how it is! Tell my heart to calm down, without worrying that there is no one and nothing that punishes and cares for us from above, there is only us, each one of us, and our truth! Whoever we are, no one else! Authentic!"
