A friend of mine worked with it and gave up a Dewalt equivalent.. For me, it's an investment, not a purchase! , the tool is worth every penny. I got it along with a bonus 3-amp battery and charger. I believe it needs a slightly more powerful battery, depending on the usage of course. For example, it drilled 20 holes in concrete with an 18mm drill bit and drained one battery. Since I already had other batteries due to owning a Makita set with a screwdriver and drill, I didn't have any issues. It's a perfect purchase for those who already have Makita sets. However, for someone else, one battery is not enough. I am completely satisfied.
