Ricoh projector WUL5A40ST with resolution of pixels.
The projection technology is the way in which the light from the projector's lamp is converted into an image to be projected onto a surface through the lens. This particular projector uses 3LCD technology and its lamp is laser type, which has a longer lifespan than LED lamps, as well as very high brightness and excellent color and black performance.
This specific technology takes its name from the initials of the words Liquid Crystal Display, it has been developed by the company Epson and it is an evolution of LCD technology. The image is created by three liquid crystal panels, each of which produces one of the primary colors: red, green, blue. The three colors are combined through prisms and projected simultaneously by the lens as a complete image. This results in a much better color performance, even in black, compared to LCD projectors.
The brightness is a very important characteristic that is taken into account, along with the projection distance and maximum diagonal you want to achieve, for selecting a projector. This specific one has a brightness of 4500 ANSI Lumens, which indicates how much light the projector can deliver on a specific surface size. The general rule suggests that the "brightest" projectors should be preferred in spaces with sufficient light or multiple light sources, while the "darker" ones should be preferred in dark spaces.
