  I have 7 SRIHOME cameras. Obviously, the reviews we read are older than November 2022, when a software upgrade was made.
  Since then, they work perfectly, the videos can be downloaded.
  There is also an application for computers.
  They are very fast and do not freeze.
  Better than TAPO, TPLINK, which I had before.

  Literally a piece of garbage... as it has happened to many others, for unknown reasons it disconnects after a while and only works very close to the router... I reset it, set it up again from scratch, but it's practically useless since it doesn't have the same range as the first day or the first month... I bought it to work on the balcony 11 meters straight from the router and it's impossible, while the corresponding device works perfectly... It's better to spend your money on something more decent.

  What camera are you talking about for 40 and 50 euros, guys? I bought 4 pieces for 17 euros each from a large Greek store on sale. I believe that for this specific camera, as well as for this specific brand, I have a complete opinion.
  Good image, easy installation and connection, but what's the use!
  I bought 4 of them last Easter and so far all 4 have broken!!
  One was producing crazy colors that had nothing to do with reality, another simply stopped working for no reason, displaying a black screen, and the other 2 make a buzzing sound from the speaker and stop functioning!
  I should add that 2 out of the 4 had already been replaced from the first days because they had a problem.
  At the same time, I had a very bad experience with 2 different systems of the same brand that I had purchased at the same time, with a recorder and 4 cameras each, which I returned both within a few days because they never worked properly, even though they were disconnecting with a cable!
  All of the above were checked by the dealership and were proven to be problematic by them, I didn't just return them on my own, I made countless trips to take each camera or system for service!

  After 16 months indoors protected from weather conditions, it stopped working and does not reset, it's garbage.

  Bought on sale for 22 euros.
  Easy installation with a leaflet in Greek, if the camera doesn't glitch like mine, you finish in 5 minutes.
  Externally consists of the square camera, a base that screws on top, and the power supply. The base is very light, does not support the camera securely, definitely needs to be screwed somewhere.

  Good image quality in the 1080p selection both day and night.
  Bad sound with interference in recording, you can't clearly understand conversations.
  Viewing angle of 80° good for indoors if you place it high, covers the entire 40sqm space for me.

  With a memory card, it records ten-minute videos that you can view and download to your mobile from the application, when the card is full it erases and starts from the beginning. The downside is that the application does not allow you to delete specific videos, you can format and delete all recordings.

  It has two recording modes, continuous recording or motion detection.

  In all-day continuous recording, it saves 10-minute videos.
  If an incident occurs the previous night and you don't know the time, you will need to watch dozens of ten-second videos one by one because it does not play them as a unified file.

  In motion detection recording, it will only record when there is movement within 5-6 meters, somewhere the motion detector senses.

  There is no option for night or day shooting, it does this automatically, when it gets dark or when it gets light, it starts continuous alternations for about an hour until it settles on night shooting, this is annoying if you are monitoring at that time, besides it makes an annoying sound every time it changes. If you have it indoors and you are in the same space, it's worse because the sound annoys you click, click, click...

  For online space monitoring it is quite good, for recording it is bad, wrong alarms constantly inside a closed house, it detects motion without anyone and records.

  With 50 lines at 5 meters the router does not disconnect at all, it works continuously, I enter the application and it gives me an image directly. If it is far from the router, it disconnects, generally it does not have a very good signal reception so do not expect it to catch a signal 10 meters away from the router.

  I bought it to hide it somewhere so that if someone enters the house they won't take it with them and the videos will be lost, as the recording is done inside the camera.

  Unfortunately, it is too big to hide and in the dark it has a red LED that lights up and is visible, if you cover it with insulation it shows nothing, the only thing you can do is to have notifications open so that if you receive a notification on your mobile you can record directly from the mobile. You can also speak into the camera's speaker or sound an alarm.

  Certainly not a camera to rely on, it has its little problems but it is a cheap option that works.

  During installation, although the steps are very simple, I had some difficulty and couldn't connect. I also noticed this when I tried to scan the QR code to connect.

  Here I will provide an UPDATE since I bought it: Unfortunately, it disconnects easily if you change its position or plug, and for some reason it can't scan the QR or reconnects whenever it wants. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who wants to change its location frequently.

  It is a good solution for a simple security system, and with an SD card, it does its job. One of its positives is that it has good image quality in the dark, which is important when you want to place it somewhere and have an idea of what's happening at night. Also, the image range is satisfactory, I would say. You receive notifications on your mobile if you set it to Motion detection mode. As for durability... if it doesn't change or break, this text will remain as it is.

  Negative: The sound. Basically, there are noises or sounds coming from somewhere, and I don't know where, and you get the impression that something is happening. Especially at night, the first time I placed it, it was a bit creepy because even though there was no sound, I heard various small noises as if something was next to it (unless I discovered a Poltergeist). I would expect a clearer and more reliable sound - I hope it's not an issue with my camera or a setting that causes it, although I looked into it.

  Overall, it's worth the money, it's okay, except for the sound part and the frequent lack of connection, which can be a bit frustrating.

  It is a good camera for 50 euros, you have a basic level of security if you need it, without spending too much (you also need a 128 GB SD card if I remember correctly). I bought it and it immediately worked, it just took me a little while to figure out how to connect it to Wi-Fi... but once it connected, it was and still is perfect.

  It also records sound, which is useful, and allows you to view the camera live through the Wi-Fi network of your home from your mobile phone with a special application.

  Overall, I have no complaints, and for someone who doesn't want to spend 300-2000 euros on a complete system, this small external camera (for outdoor use) is more than enough if you want to cover a yard or an entrance area with bars, it fully covers you. When the memory card is full, it automatically deletes the footage and starts recording again, while at the same time it is set up to notify you on your mobile phone if it detects movement by a person in the camera's frame when you are at home.

  In order for the video to be legal if needed as evidence of a crime, you must place a sign saying "security cameras" in an external location of your house.
