This book aims to contribute to the proper preparation of first-year high school students in the subject of Ancient Greek. Adapted to the new teaching needs and the new assessment framework, it constitutes a structured proposal for the teaching and examination of the subject.

Specifically, the excerpts from the school textbook from Xenophon's Greek are organized into teaching units. Each unit includes:
- The text and its translation
- Comprehension questions
- Linguistic normalization
- Core structural elements
- Grammatical phenomena (recognition of forms, principal parts, cognates, etymological elements, temporal and modal substitutions)
- Syntactic analysis of the ancient text
- Interpretative - aesthetic approach to the discourse
- Semantic rendering of the text
- Ideological elements
- Supplementary questions (interpretative, grammatical, syntactic, and lexical) for the consolidation of new knowledge
- Assessment criteria aligned with the new examination spirit. These include questions from the Question Bank.
