"Animal Lovers" includes an unpublished testimony, titled "How I Met Humans Through Animals," an insert with photos of what is narrated in the testimony, and twelve animal-loving stories. The testimony, written with the literary passion of Periklis Sfyridis, relives the author's life in relation to animals, as well as his relationship with various other people whose lives intersected with his own because of an animal.
It is an exciting autobiographical text in which, in addition to animals (birds, horses, goats, cats, and dogs), well-known figures from the literary, artistic, and medical fields, as well as others unknown to many, from his family and friendly environment in Thessaloniki and Skyros, parade.
