  I am a heavy and relatively slow runner who runs from 45 to 60 km per week. I have fallen in love with this model. The shoe is ideal for someone who wants a premium do it all pair. It performs flawlessly from interval sessions on the track to late recovery runs. Ideal for long runs at moderate paces (+/- 05:00 min/km). At these paces, the shoe literally "locks in" and takes you along effortlessly. It is extremely stable despite the height of the sole and impressively light for its bulk. The dual foam responds perfectly after 400 km, with almost no wear, but it takes 40-50 km of use to "break in". At 250 km, I ran a marathon in Milan without any problems. I bought a second pair as it is difficult to find available. It runs half a size smaller (46 instead of 46 and 1/2 in my case). The only downside is the grip on wet surfaces.

  Impressions are after 150km of training on asphalt and open terrain while they were also used in the recent Athens Half Marathon.

  It is definitely expensive, but you have endless cushioning available from the highest quality Asics foam combined with very low weight. The result is a shoe that performs equally well in a wide range of paces (4:00-7:00 min/km). The only negative I noticed after the Half Marathon is the very low grip on wet asphalt. In wet spots, I had to significantly slow down because I didn't feel secure in my step.

  For me, the great advantage of this shoe is that you can do demanding workouts and races as comfortably as possible (as far as this is feasible, of course). Given the high cost, I use it selectively for such occasions. I consider it uneconomical for everyday training.

  I have tried various running shoes over the past 8 years that I have been running as a hobby, but more systematically, and this is by far the best - at least for my needs. I am relatively heavy (1.88m and 94kg) and usually have an average pace of around 6:00 min/km. I feel that this specific shoe has the necessary cushioning that is needed - without being too soft to the point where it will tire you out during longer distances and feel unstable. It has very good breathability and is quite lightweight for its size. Personally, I only use it for long runs over 20km and so far, distances up to the classic marathon (42km). The downside is its high price (I bought it for €220) when you can now get the Novablast 3 for around €120, which is a lower category but comparable in feel. Overall, it is a high-quality and lightweight shoe that balances comfort and stability - although slightly more expensive. For those who want something more stable than the Superblast (e.g. for running at faster paces), then they might need to look at another shoe and I would recommend using a carbon insole. On the other hand, if someone wants something even softer than the Superblast (e.g. for a daily trainer), I would suggest going for the Nimbus or something similar.

  Το καλύτερο παπούτσι τρεξίματος που έχω φορέσει ποτέ. Κάνω σταθερά 80-100 χλμ την εβδομάδα εδώ και αρκετά χρόνια και αλλάζω παπούτσι κάθε σεζόν. Είναι το μοναδικό παπούτσι με το οποίο τα πόδια μου νιώθουν πως δεν έχουν κάνει καν προπόνηση μετά από 3-4 ώρες. Λόγω της φυσιογνωμίας και του υλικού κατασκευής, προστατεύουν τα πόδια από κραδασμούς και πιέσεις που απαιτεί ο στίβος. Είναι μαλακά όσο χρειάζονται για χαμηλότερες εντάσεις αλλά και ταυτόχρονα σκληρά για γρηγορότερα κομμάτια, χάρη στην σόλα που συνδυάζει δυο διαφορετικά foam.

  Λόγω της διπλής σόλας (FF Blast Plus και FF Turbo), είναι εξαιρετικό για κάθε είδος προπόνησης. Τα έχω δοκιμάσει για αερόβια, αναερόβια, τέμπο, ζέσταμα, αποκατάσταση, κομμάτια και ότι άλλο υπάρχει για προπονήσεις μεσαίων και μεγάλων αποστάσεων και ήταν καταπληκτικά σε κάθε είδος τρεξίματος (με δυνατότερο σημείο του τα long run). Επιπλέον είναι φουλ ανθεκτικά (ελάχιστη φθορά μετά από 200χλμ σε ταρτάν, άσφαλτο, δρόμο, χώμα, γήπεδο και ανώμαλο). Με αυτό τον ρυθμό φτάνουν 800-900 χλμ εύκολα.

  Όμως πρέπει να πω πως δεν είναι καθαρά αγωνιστικό επειδή δεν έχει αρκετά στοιχεία που συναντάς σε ακριβότερα αγωνιστικά παπούτσια (AlphaFly,VaporFly,Metaspeed Sky+,Prime X κλπ). Είναι για αυτούς που θέλουν ένα ‘premium’ παπούτσι προπόνησης που βοηθάει στην αποκατάσταση και αριστεύει σε κάθε είδος προπόνησης. Ιδανικά συνδυάζεται με το AlphaFly και VaporFly για αγώνες. Επίσης, επειδή είναι λίγο μακρόστενο θα έλεγα πως κάθεται κουτί σε μισό νούμερο κάτω από το κανονικό. Φοράω 42.5 και το πήρα σε 42 και είναι ότι πρέπει.

  Δεν θα το πρότεινα για αρχάριους δρομείς μόνο και μόνο από άποψη κόστους και αξίας. Για προχωρημένους αθλητές, αξίζει και με το παραπάνω επειδή σου προσφέρει πολλά.

  Bought for 157.5 euros. 241g in size 42.5. It is a shoe for many many kilometers. It is lightweight, soft, and stable! The fabric is light and soft, allowing the foot to breathe fully and sits very well on the foot without squeezing or tightening. The entire upper part is soft and elastic on the tongue for grip with a removable insole. The sole is made of high-quality material. It has excellent grip and stability. It has very high shock absorption and energy return. I have worn these shoes a lot and they are still the same, you don't notice any difference in adjustments or different terrains. It is a very fast shoe and worth it!

  After much study of foreign reviews and videos, I decided to get them to see what they are all about since they are truly a very unique shoe and I was looking for something different from the usual. First of all, when you see them, you say, "new color in the Novablast 3" and the truth is that they look very different on the outside.

  Let's take things one by one though. Their weight is 260g in size 45, very light relative to their volume. They are very high shoes, I measured a sole height of 46mm at the heel and you can feel it a lot if you wear only one and go for a walk. Their drop is 8mm, classic for this type of shoe, it provides a good push when running by first landing on the heel.

  After 100 km of all kinds of training. The feel is not related to the Novablast. It is firmer, more stable, and provides clear propulsion, without being too hard and tiring. As a result, it makes the shoe suitable for medium-speed training, borderline for fast training, and probably indifferent or luxurious for slow training. Similarly, it will perform well in races of all distances and in marathons, providing that little push we need to go a bit faster without losing the comfort of a wide and tall running shoe.

  I would classify it in a category of its own, between shoes that do not have a carbon plate and those that do (this particular one does not). It is neither the springiness that an adios 3 or an endorphin pro 3 gives you, nor the softness and cushioning that the Novablast 3 provides.

  Update 250 km: The shoes are excellent. They are so good in all aspects that I am considering running the marathon with them, even though I have other pairs that are purely racing shoes. They have not given me any problems in any type of running, and they are so comfortable that I am not sure if the others will perform as well with the many difficult kilometers of the marathon.

  Update 400 km: Since the shoes with plates (carbon, nylon, etc.) that I have tire my ankles a lot during long distances and cause pain for 2-3 days (some complain about knees, others about Achilles, it depends on the foot and the way each person lands), I have decided not to risk running the long kilometers of the marathon with such a shoe, at least not yet. I will definitely go with the superblast, which I have tested up to 35 km and my feet were fine, without any specific discomfort, just the general soreness that we all have after a race. The insole has started to wear out in some areas where there is no rubber, but I believe there will be no immediate problem in the future because the rubber will stop the wear and tear. (see photo)

  Update 600 km + new pair: I found them on sale and bought another pair, firstly because they are the best shoes I have worn and secondly because I wanted to have a benchmark to compare them with the first pair to see when I should retire them. The first impressions are that the first pair has softened quite a bit and their foam has settled. Wearing both pairs, I believe there is a difference of 2-3 points for sure. More updates when I have runs with one shoe on one foot and the other shoe on the other.

  Update AMA 2023: No problems even in the marathon. Absolutely comfortable, strong where I needed them to be, I finished the race without any concerns about the shoes. Taking them off, no blackened toenails, no blisters on my feet.

  Update 900km: I still use them on easy and long runs. Okay, they have softened and do not have the same stable grip they used to, but they still hold up. I will probably retire them at 1000km. The comparison with new ones is definitely uneven.
