  Very good in all aspects.
  However, I am not the most demanding user (no games and basic needs for photos - videos) and I keep my phones for about 4.5 years on average.
  Having previously had a redmi 8 which had become almost non-functional (it was incredibly laggy before I made a call), the difference was truly vast!
  I use it constantly (phone, social media, photos, hotspot, Bluetooth with standard connection for two devices, GPS) and so far (a month since I got it) it hasn’t lagged at all!
  Its charging (from 40% to 100%) takes less than an hour.
  For me, the amazing pros (which are of course subjective) are the way you see all the apps, the very good support for widgets on the screen, the Samsung keyboard, the way to create and rename folders, etc.

  I ordered it 2 weeks ago and it actually arrived before the estimated delivery. This phone definitely WORTHS full its price. First of all, the camera is flawless, the sound while I’m talking on the phone is amazing, at least 5 people told me while I was on a call that the sound was great. Then, the performance of the phone is incredible, very fast, it even runs Fortnite at 60Hz max settings 60-50fps, which is top-notch. This phone is simply the best for a mid-range budget.
  Regarding the fingerprint sensor, it’s a bit tricky to set it up, but once you do, it works perfectly without any issues!
  No lag or anything. In short, the Samsung A55 is the best mid-range budget phone in my opinion, simply flawless in everything.
  Edit: Moreover, the screen has very vibrant and bright colors, I couldn’t believe it, very good display!

  Coming from the S20, I was impressed by the sturdy construction, battery life, and weight. The photos are fine, but the settings in the menu are poorer than in the S series. For its price, at 1/3 of the S series, it is amazing value. There is no reason for someone to spend 1000 euros on the flagship if they can get such a good phone (and waterproof) like the A55 for 350.

  Gold-plated mediocrity. Don’t pay more than 300 for this phone.
  Coming from Mi9T (€220 in 2019), I chose the A55 as a replacement influenced by the good words on YouTube, comments, etc. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like I bought something better but something worse than what I had. I cut an invoice and with 39A it came out to €260, but for no reason should you pay more than 300.

  Screen (6/10)
  120Hz but it’s useless and consumes more energy.
  The screen is generally "pale" compared to Xiaomi. The colors are not particularly vivid, brightness is average, fewer pixels per inch, a hole for the camera on the screen, and ridiculously large bezels (the Mi9T had a mechanism and was 100% screen).

  Charging (5/10)
  Poor compatibility with other chargers and cables.
  45w charger from Steamdeck is sour, 75w Xiaomi smells bad, 25w original Samsung "ultra fast charge 45 minutes for full charge"?
  Positive that it has many charging options like disabling fast charge, charging up to 80% for battery safety, etc.

  Cameras (6/10)
  The cameras are nothing special, no improvement from Mi9T, the video has worse stabilization actually but I overlook that.

  Software (6/10)
  The software, for how much people praise it, is at best mediocre. To customize it to your liking, you have to download 500 nonsense from the Samsung store as additional settings and still, there will be something you can’t do exactly as you want. It has some nice tricks that make your life a bit easier, but overall I feel that some things it makes unnecessarily difficult and it breaks balls.

  Build quality (8/10)
  With excessive care for 2-3 days until I bought a case and screen protector, it somehow managed to collect minor scratches. And even on the camera lens. Nothing obvious, with a protective screen it’s not visible at all, but it’s disappointing because I treated it like a baby. Also, it is EXTREMELY HEAVY; you might have a problem with car cases, be careful not to break any grille! Overall, it’s beautiful.

  Positive that it accepts a memory card, negative that you can’t convert it to virtual internal storage, so any app you download will download to the phone and then if it’s transferable, you can send it to the SD.

  It seems to be a very good phone. I had the Samsung Galaxy S7 for 6 years, excellent in all aspects. Unfortunately, it was downgraded due to lack of updates because of its age. I got the A55 and I have a modern, fast, and clear phone, beautiful and very convenient. I believe that overall, it surpasses or is on par with the iPhone 12 to 14, and the Samsung Galaxy S21 to S23. Very good as a build with fantastic photos, it falls a bit short in video recording. I am not an expert in photography, but under certain conditions, it is amazing for special lighting photos. It does not overheat, while its battery with normal use [a lot of internet with reading type, a bit of Facebook, emails, NFC purchases, and online radio for 2 hours every day] lasts 36 hours. I highly recommend it. I was blown away by the data transfer from the old to the new phone... I got it in 24 interest-free installments for €400, white, 8GB/256. I will come back...

  Coming from the fantastic realme gt neo 2, the A55 is a very nice phone overall. I didn't see any issues with the battery, it lasts up to 2 days depending on usage. Playing games, it's reasonable that it decreases, but still not anything tragic. The screen is incredible, brightness is excellent, and it's fast in whatever I ask for.   ** Important: regarding the GPS problem that people mention in other reviews, they are absolutely right... HOWEVER, after searching a bit online, I found a list of possible solutions. This resolved the issue. **

  1) Terrible build quality. You really can't believe that the device costs a little over 300 euros (at the time of the review).
  2) The battery easily lasts a day of demanding use. Charging is not fast, however. It takes about 1.30-2 hours for a full charge.
  3) Very good software (coming from iOS). It lacks nothing. The only complaint I have about Samsung is the notification management, especially when you choose one of the modes you want. The customization seems difficult to me - the corresponding focus mode of iPhones is much easier to set up.
  4) The camera is satisfactory in good lighting conditions, the same goes for the video. Don't expect miracles.
  5) Finger unlock is okay, a bit slow. Face unlock is unacceptable, especially if there is no lighting - I have it permanently disabled.

  Overall, the phone offers amazing value for its price. It is good in all areas, without being exceptional in any.

  I accidentally deleted a previous review of mine...
  I will summarize it more concisely.
  Having the S23 Ultra as my primary device, I got this one as a second.
  The screen is acceptable with satisfactory resolution, but the contrast-brightness-color vibrancy is nowhere near the S23 Ultra (considerably inferior), yet it ultimately gets the job done.
  Photos are very good for the price category.
  Battery is top-notch... 10 hours SOT and 24 hours standby from 100% to 15% with two active SIMs.
  Face unlock and fingerprint recognition work flawlessly for me...
  A key advantage of the device is the ability to use 2 physical SIMs and alternatively an eSIM.
  Also (a key advantage) is the use of a microSD card up to 1TB if the 256GB of internal storage is insufficient; however, the use of a second SIM in this case will be an eSIM.
  It runs all applications, is extremely fast, and doesn't lag anywhere.
  Samsung supports the device for at least two years as far as I know, both in terms of the operating system and security updates.
  The size is a bit larger than I would like, but I overlook it because the size (of the battery) matters here.
  Build quality is top-notch.
  The price is very good even outside of Skroutz.
  I give it 5 stars because it is perfect for its price!

  One positive and one negative:
  Regarding the screen, the ability to increase color vibrancy has been added from the settings menu, which greatly improved the appearance of the screen.
  In photos, I noticed that under certain conditions of increased light in the center of the frame, it darkens the photo significantly, causing underexposure, which does not happen, for example, with the S23 Ultra...
  I hope this will be fixed with some update...
