I was not satisfied at all, from the beginning the speakerphone did not work well and since yesterday there is no fingerprint recognition and it cannot be accessed, despite my efforts.
The screen scratches easily, sound is mediocre.
The realme 6 I had for 5 years is light years better
The phone is beautiful at first, the camera is really amazing. It's fast, it hasn't lagged on me anywhere, it doesn't really handle games in full graphics but that's okay. Very nice screen, exceeding 450 but I don't regret it, coming from a realme 12 pro.
I've been a owner for 2 months, so I will write 2-3 things to help some potential buyer.
First of all, I will say that the phone is very beautiful, especially the blue one which I have as well. It doesn't lag anywhere and is very fast.
The photos are very good even in low light, as well as the speakers which are on the top and bottom.
There is NFC.
Where I was disappointed is the battery, barely lasting the day and I don't play games. Just social media and not extensively. Now that I added a second SIM, I have to charge it anytime after noon because it drops very quickly.
My previous phone was the realme 8 which had the same battery capacity, but that one, even though I had it for 2 years, lasted much longer.
Another negative is that due to the cameras, it might concern you about how you will hold it in your hand, but you will get used to it over time.
Owner for a month and a half, coming from a p30 lite, I can only say the best! Initially, the camera is the strongest point and competes with phones costing 1000 euros and above. Especially the zoom! Also, a very good battery that easily lasts 2 days with moderate to heavy use (I know it's still early and that's reasonable). The processor is decent, and overall I believe it's a phone that is worth its price!
Quite a good phone, but for its price, I have to say that I was very, very disappointed with the camera. The Huawei P30 I had before this produced the same quality in photos at night, maybe even better. Not good quality at all when it's night. I see photos taken (from the real me 12+ pro) of the moon in zoom and they look very good, which convinced me to buy it. However, this is not the case, at least with my phone. Also, it does auto brightness when there is a lot of sunlight (it lowers the screen brightness and I can't see anything) while that function is turned off.
Everything is fine, but I give it 4.5* because in terms of the camera, a phone at €460 is relatively mediocre. And I explain... in relatively lower light environments, it shows significant graining... something you don't see in comparable devices from the competition, e.g., Moto Edge 50 Fusion (which is perhaps the best in the category) ~€70 cheaper.
Coming from the Poco series, I only find positives in this particular phone.
Its camera is EXCELLENT, easily comparable to flagship models from other companies. Night shots are crystal clear, and the ROAD mode is unique. Especially if you know how to adjust the Pro mode, you really stand out!
Its battery life is definitely a full day of heavy use, while its operating system is fully customizable... The fingerprint sensor might not unlock on the first try, but I consider it a minor detail...
The screen pleasantly surprised me, but it definitely needs a protective glass because in case of wear, it is very expensive. Curved screen that lights up discreetly on the sides for notifications.
Although in the past I wouldn't spend so much money on a phone, for this one I made an exception and I believe it is worth every euro I spent.
After two weeks of use and coming from the realme 9 pro plus in my humble opinion there is no better in this category, in simple words it has everything and it is worth it. However, I will focus on the camera and more specifically on the 64 Mpx telephoto lens which, along with the software and a few photography skills, will make you think you have bought a professional Sony camera and for the record the photos I have uploaded with the moon have not been edited or filtered, they are exactly as the mobile took them and they are truly....Unbelievable!!!!! When I saw them I couldn't believe my eyes, as for realme it is one of the best companies in my opinion.
The photos were taken on 23/7/2024 in Rhodes.
Although the specifications say that it does not support NFC, the mobile phone has it. It is an incredible mobile phone from every aspect, design, photos and videos, speed and processor, battery and endless capacity, the best mobile phone in the value for money category.
I bought the phone for 460.
coming from realme gt 2 which I still use and I needed another one for work.
(I have it for a month)
positives:
- its very good price
- camera
- overall experience, connectivity, grip
- battery lasts for 2+ days. now in the summer with heavy usage, I go to sleep and I still haven't seen a notification of 20%. (and in the previous one, I struggled with hotspot and all-day usage and after some time I saw the battery performance drop. they have done a good job)
- rocket charger: if you forget to charge it and you plug it in the morning until you get ready, it will easily last for half a day.
negatives:
- the fingerprint doesn't always work. I don't know if my hands are burned from the oils but with the previous phone I didn't have the same issue (face recognition is flawless, just if you make payments like me, which require the fingerprint, it might bother you until you get used to it)
- earpiece. it doesn't have a good earpiece for calls and also in speakerphone mode, people can't hear you well.
4/5 because there is room for improvement but I give it 5/5 because for this price, I didn't find something equally valuable
It is a very good mobile phone for the money I paid. I bought 2 identical ones in a different color, one for myself and one for my child. It reminds me of the iPhone XS Max I had until last year, it doesn't lag at all currently and has a very nice display. The only thing that bothers me is that it is cheaper than the Realme 11 Pro+ which is also older. Something is wrong with this issue, while everything in the 12 Pro+ is upgraded. These stores should take a look at it, because it's very strange.
Very good phone especially for its price! Its camera is very nice, I would say it reaches the quality of devices that cost 700€+...! Its battery is excellent!
Battery very powerful. Charges full in 40 minutes (from 10-15%) and with heavy use easily lasts all day. Photos and videos are its strongest points. WiFi signal is great. What could be better is the fingerprint sensor but still it is ok and fast. Really beautiful device. Definitely a value for money phone. Realme is a guarantee!!!
