  The cups, in my opinion, are more elegant and well-made than they appear in the photos. They are very well-crafted, and the material is quite thick, resulting in keeping the coffee or tea warm much longer than I am used to from others. We have bought two and have been using them daily during the winter days for about two years. Neither boiling water nor the dishwasher seems to have affected them so far. They show no signs of wear, cracks, etc., they are still in their original condition.
