The grip is quite strong and gives you confidence that it will not fall from your hands even if you hold it only by the accessory. However, it is worth mentioning that it does not have anything special to justify its price. It is a simple pop socket, nothing more, nothing less.

I have had it for almost 3 years now and it has been a lifesaver! It is durable, easily holds up to 3 cards, and most importantly, it has greatly improved the grip, to the point where I can't live without it. By far the best accessory for the iPhone!
