I am an amateur runner, with 5 training sessions a week and times of 3:30 for the marathon and 1:35 for the half (which I want to improve). I was addicted to the speed 3 and their very soft cushioning (I wore out 2 pairs and was about to buy a third), but I realized that if I wanted to improve further, I needed to go for something a bit firmer (not too firm) and definitely more responsive. I tried various models. Initially, I was disappointed with the speed 4, which seemed to lengthen quite a bit in the front and also felt like it lowered a little; overall, I didn't like the feeling. Clifton and mach x felt heavy and quite stiff, so I thought I would try adidas for the first time with this specific model. The shoe is excellent. It has the ideal cushioning to transition from very soft foams to something intermediate in feel, so you don't go straight to the other extreme (hard cushioning or carbon plate). I have tried it so far in long runs (at 5'15) and tempo (4'30-4'40) and I was absolutely satisfied. It has very good responsiveness, is stable, and once you lock into your pace, the workout goes smoothly. The only downside is the collar, which I would prefer to be a bit more snug around the ankle; it's not that my foot swims inside, but that's how I would like it. For the size, I went down a size; while I wear 46 in almost all running shoes, I got 45 1/3 in this one and it fits me perfectly. I highly recommend it, especially around €120, which is now its price!

One of the fastest shoes at the best price for what it offers. It can be worn for any type of route. The outsole is Continental! It sticks everywhere! It doesn't slip anywhere! The midsole is bouncy and soft, while the rods push you just a little to go faster. It doesn't wear out as easily as you will see in reviews abroad. I have done about 400 kilometers and they haven't worn out anywhere yet.

Worthy successor of the Boston series. A daily trainer for all workouts but its highlight is the speed. Comfortable and spacious enough in the toe area to allow you to go half a size down from your regular size. The sole is not too soft, but not too hard either. After 50-60 km it softens even more. But if you want a very soft cushioning, you will have to look elsewhere. The only downside is its high price. If you find it on sale, don't hesitate to get it!

Bought for 122 euros. Weighs 257 grams in size 42 2/3. They are shoes for medium distances. I have the blue ones with the black logo. I also tried the next size up and it still squeezed my toes like this one here. They are definitely not worth the money. The fabric is quite stiff and hard, it doesn't bend easily, resulting in a tight fit, but it is breathable. The tongue is tight with elastic, it doesn't loosen much with use. The sole has a lot of material, with the last layer being CONTINENTAL for better grip and traction, making the step hard, while the material of the sole is soft. In between the sole, there are carbon fiber bars for support and better durability of the shoes. The insole is soft, but when I step on the shoes, they bother me. The entire back side of the shoe fabric has cushions that stabilize the foot during walking.
