It gave shine to the plastics and they look more intense like "new", but it didn't do anything special on faded ones!
As others have written, dust does stick on it. I applied the gel and wiped it off quite well the first time and again the next day.
After 15 days, dust sticks again, much less though, but it easily comes off with a cloth, maintaining its shine!

I don't know if the plastics I applied it on need to "soak" because they were very old, and after 2-3 applications with this product, my above evaluation changed.
If it doesn't change next time, I will prefer a different similar product!
