I waited for some time to be sure about the review.
In Poco, the best are the pro versions and that’s what I was looking to buy, but I was going over budget.
This is the second Poco I bought and this one is mainly for the camera. I come from the Note 11 pro which I can't say excited me. Generally, I find Poco more reliable.
Here the camera is better, it’s fast as a phone, and it has a nice screen.
I was a bit worried about the fingerprint sensor at the front, but in the end, I have no issues. The bloatware that I read bothers a lot of people, I knew it would have it, I’m used to it.
An important thing for me is that it has a radio (which unfortunately they are trying to eliminate and I don’t want internet radio because it has ads and I listen every night on the road and would miss a large part of the show), NFC, and a 3.5 jack (although this can be easily solved).
The charging is very fast. The battery lasts about 1-1.5 days if I use it, so for me, that’s very normal.
The sound is also very good.
Sometimes it does get warm, but the same happens with two other phones. This usually happened during the very high heat.
In the one I got, the RAM is 12GB and you can expand it and get another 12GB from the internal storage, which is large (256).
I personally like the new Xiaomi software because I feel the phones are faster.
It’s a decent phone for its price. In the future, I will definitely choose Poco again. (And never again Samsung)
I am not excited at all, I think it freezes, it drains a lot of battery and even though it has a large battery without much use at the end of the day there is little left!
a nice phone, with a very good screen, easy on the eyes, with a battery that lasts at least 2 days, very good camera, has a problem with 5g not certified by cosmote. it achieves very good speeds on 4G+
A very decent phone for its price. For mid-range phone users, it's very, very good. Fast, fantastic colors on the screen, very nice camera (don't expect iPhone performance), clear sound. On the 5th day of use and coming from a 4-year-old Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, I can say that it is worth its money and more. I should also mention that I'm surprised by the reviews about the battery, because I hardly put it down and the battery definitely lasts a day. I don't do gaming, of course, but the use of social media and settings on the phone in the first few days easily lasts a day... So far, very satisfied! The only thing I really miss from my old phone is the notification LED.
Excellent product, amazing battery, nice photos. The only problem I could find is the new operating system from Xiaomi that it has. Although better than the previous one for sure, it shows some traces of the old operating system, such as the bloatware.
I bought it for a middle-aged person who doesn't have many demands from a phone coming from a Redmi Note 5. The phone is flawless in everything: battery, fast charging, screen, speakers, camera. It is just right for someone who doesn't want a flagship phone, but a midrange one that is budget-friendly with satisfactory performance, as Poco devices are known for their value for money. There was a thought about the Poco M6 Pro or OnePlus Nord CE Lite, but I ultimately decided to go for the X6 since it is more powerful than the M6 and cheaper than the Nord 3. There is also the X6 Pro with a much stronger processor, but this particular user wouldn't utilize it, and it lacks the headphone jack which they would want for the radio.
After years with Samsung in various models, I decided to choose Xiaomi. I am simply impressed with the X6 because it is fast, the screen is great, and my photos have gained color. I compare it with Samsung, where they look faded. It is a very good choice. As a downside, I would mention the battery life, which lasts a day, depending on how someone uses it. I don't let it out of my hands all day.
Review after 3 days of use. Very good phone. Fast, with a very nice camera for photos and videos. I think it also has a slight stabilizer during video recording. I will update again in the future.
The phone is exactly what you pay for - a good phone for budget-mid range devices. I've had it for almost a month and I'm pushing it as much as I can to see its limits.
The battery lasts about a day with gaming use, which is reasonable given the processor and battery they put in it. Obviously, it depends on usage, but generally, it easily lasts a day. The fast charging shines in cases where you want to leave the house quickly but don't have the option to charge it on the go.
At low specifications, all games will run just fine, but some demanding games will heat up the device, so if you want to play heavy games, it's recommended to use some additional cooling system. In any other use, no heat issues from the device at all.
The camera is quite acceptable for its price, so don't expect miracles - it just works. Quite a bright screen in the sun. It has a fast refresh rate, but if you set it to optimal, you gain a little more battery life.
However, YOU MUST disable the phone's "suggestions," which pop up every 10 minutes. There are guides on how to do it on YT.
For 512GB and 12 RAM, the price I got it for (300) was fair, and I believe it's just right for a phone you get to start teaching your parents how to use current technology. Why 512? Because parents love photos and videos to remember, so the extra 50 is a solid investment, imho.
A fair choice for the price I paid. It does what it needs to do relatively quickly and comfortably. Sometimes I feel that it might get a little warmer than I would expect, but that is subjective and has many variables (external temperature, dark case, exposure to sunlight, usage conditions, etc.).
It might be worth mentioning that I come from a Poco F3, which even today is a powerhouse! (it was replaced due to water damage for the third time). Overall, quite satisfied and a good choice to replace the F3
I've had this phone for about half a year and I can say that it is totally vfm great camera quality good performance in games and doesn't overheat ( I don't play any games besides bs which Is kinda light) very good battery life it's not that heavy as it is below 200 gr. and it's screen is as big as the others at this price range and even more expensive. The only bad thing is that overnight it loses about 5-10% of battery if it isn't on battery saver mode.
P.S
this is all coming from someone whose last phone was a realme 7
The battery lasts less than a day. It overheats excessively during gaming to the point that it can't process the data and freezes. The Redmi Note 9 Pro I had was light years better! I wouldn't buy it if I knew.
Good camera, fast, but it freezes from the first days I had it and the battery runs out very quickly with regular use. I leave the house with 70% battery and worry that I might not make it through the day.. I do not recommend it at all. Also bad speaker
I've had it for a little while, but judging by my previous phone which is also Xiaomi and proved to be a workhorse, I think this one will also make me look good. It's value for money.
The basic criterion for my choice was the stereo jack port. I am very satisfied because I had an older one (Poco f1) and the series is always value for money.
Also, I have to say the following:
- The battery capacity through a special program is reported as 5021mAh and not 5100, which means 98% of the advertised.
- To work with 5G, it had to be set up by the central Cosmote despite having the correct settings.
- For about the same money, there is a Note series with a much better camera and a better processor.
- The fingerprint sensor is sometimes slow, in my old poco f1 it was on the back and fast, now I don't know if the delay is due to being on the screen
A mobile value for money. The technical specifications are very good and the photos are clear. The only relatively bad thing is that the battery does not last so long but it is also the basic version. I believe that the pro version will last longer. The delivery was immediate and the packaging was perfect.
I have had it for about a month. For its price, it is top in its category. Very good processor, fast, with a decent camera and decent sound. Easy operating system. I recommend it to everyone.
I have it since mid-May. Its screen is amazing, with vibrant and beautiful colors, and its sound is very good. Its menu is easy. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the relatively fast battery depletion, but luckily its charging is very fast. Overall, I am very satisfied
It was purchased 1 month ago for my wife to replace an s9+ that gave up after 5 years of hard work.
During the first two days, several pre-installed apps like the calculator crashed. Also, for some reason, you couldn't download anything from Gmail.
By uninstalling and reinstalling the problematic apps and removing Xiaomi's bloatware, the phone improved.
No issues from there on. The phone is incredibly fast, you can open as many apps as you want simultaneously without any problems. It is, in most cases, just as fast as an iPhone 14.
In normal lighting, it takes good photos with the main camera, even at night in well-lit areas. In darkness, the grain is intense, but that's expected.
The battery is also quite good, easily lasting a day with 5G and extensive use excluding gaming.
The charging is really fast, and in a pinch, a few minutes can give you hours of battery life...
The build is made of plastic, but it doesn't feel cheap. The design is modern and has a good grip.
The screen is where most of the money went, it has good resolution and brightness, with no issues using it outdoors. It doesn't strain the eyes when reading and can be compared to much more expensive devices.
The reception is good, WiFi and Bluetooth never disconnect.
In one month, it received an upgrade to Android 14 without any problems.
In conclusion, it's a budget device that, considering its price of around 200 euros, is worth every penny.
-1 star because it bothers you a bit with the initial minor issues.
From the first week of purchase, the biggest problem I face is that with simple use on Fb, insta after a few minutes the temperature rises so much that my hands burn and it becomes unbearable to use.
I took it to the official dealership to check it and they told me that there is absolutely no problem, after they did all the necessary checks. I don't know what to do.
Otherwise, it doesn't lag, photos and videos are average.
I have had it for a few days now, and I am not satisfied. I heard very good things about it, but it's not like that. From the first day, the battery drains in record time. It does have fast charging, but when you're out, you have to be afraid of running out of battery. It also had a glitch on Instagram and the screen got stuck. I think I will start crying for the money I spent, around 270. If it was possible, I would return it. It's not worth the money
I bought it about a month ago, a phone with average overall parameters (I'm not into gaming), I can't find any noticeable flaws, except maybe the battery.... It does its job perfectly fine, despite the abundance of advertisements from the manufacturing company that misleads us, the price is quite good.... The camera is satisfactory for the average user.... If I have to rate it... I would give it a 3/5.
There was a problem with the top speaker and voice command (they were working whenever they wanted), after a month they sent me a new one and yesterday the second one started to have the same problem!! I asked for a refund. 12/256
