It is at least a must-have for anyone using a trimmer near trees, walls, stairs, or any other obstacle with some height.

It will not help if you want to cut on spread geotextile fabric or a pipe that touches the ground, but for any obstacle that is at least 4-5 centimeters high from the ground, it is a truly lifesaving attachment. It is very easy to install by simply tightening 2 screws on almost any handle (the manufacturer gives 26mm-28mm, but with a patent to wrap some flexible plastic around it, it can fit even thicker handles if needed). It has a diameter of 30cm, is relatively lightweight, and is made of hard, durable plastic.

With the guard, one can trim between trees or near wires without fearing that they will hit them with the trimmer line. In my case, it helped me finish in 10 minutes without any damage, a job that previously took me almost an hour with endless caution because I had to trim between plants planted every half meter, which had less than half a meter distance from a wall with wire behind them. Now I have no fear of damaging the plant's trunk, cutting the wire, or cutting the trimmer line.

Truly, the only reason not to buy it is if someone constantly cuts in large open areas without obstacles. For anything else, it is absolutely necessary.

Good construction and quality plastic if it is for occasional work after 10 plants-trees the real weight is revealed.
