The VFD 800 APFC UPS Off-Line 800VA 420W with 6 Schuko Power Plugs by Powerwalker is a Compact UPS. It has 6 outlets of type Schuko as well as an input and output for an ethernet cable and a telephone cable, protecting devices connected to it, such as a router or telephone (provided their power is connected to a UPS or surge protector). Its operation is (VFD) Off-Line which provides power in case of power outage but not voltage fluctuations, so it is not recommended for sensitive equipment. The battery can last for 1 minute with full load (when the connected devices draw maximum current that the UPS can provide).

    This review is about the power (va): 600 VA

    Since it is advertised as completely silent, I bought it for a PC with a TV screen in my music listening area. For the first month or so, things were indeed like that. Then it started "ringing" something from the inside very annoyingly. Eventually, I opened it up and found that it was a small blue capacitor (I think of the ceramic type) somewhere in the middle of the main circuit board. I surrounded it with silicone hot glue (the well-known glue gun) and it quieted down. As a UPS, it works fine but only for a few minutes. It is mainly meant to cover you during short power outages.
