  • Unfortunately, I purchased a KraftWorld battery chainsaw online - supposedly with a 36V/5Ah battery as stated on the website. When I went to operate it with fully charged batteries, I found that with the slightest resistance, the chainsaw would stop, and to restart it, I had to remove the battery and put it back in. This was repeated with the second battery with the same results. After this, I measured the battery and the charger with a multimeter and saw that the battery voltage is NOT 36V but 18V, and - obviously - this is the reason why the chainsaw does not have the required power. After many phone calls, they sent me to Termitheas Street 49, Palaio Faliro, where they changed the batteries and the charger and gave me - supposedly - 36V / 8Ah batteries. I informed a lady who seems to be the responsible person that I would measure the batteries and the charger again. When I returned home, I measured the batteries and the charger, and UNFORTUNATELY the batteries and the charger are as before, that is, 18V and not 36V, only the labels were different. I called again, and the operator told me that "this is what we sell, and your complaints should go to the manufacturer" and that I was bothering her with my calls, and that they would not change anything for me again. After this tragically WRONG purchase and their behavior, I decided to open the battery (4 screws) and found the following. The device's battery consists only of 5 battery cells type 18650, (3.6V-3.7V Nominal Voltage from manufacturers - When charging, we can measure up to 4.2V max), which confirms the 18V (5*3.6V=18V). However, there is space for an additional 5 battery cells which are NOT present. The battery cells are missing - See Photos. If there were 10 battery cells (along with the corresponding charging control circuit for 36V and not 18V as it is now), the voltage would indeed be 36V. Furthermore, each battery cell is NOT 8Ah as stated on the battery label, but 2Ah. (In Photo 2000 mAh). Thus, the energy of the battery is (18/36)*(2/8)= 1/8, that is, only 12.5% of what corresponds to a 36V/8Ah battery as mentioned on the website. I would expect better, if not professional behavior from the sellers. The excuse that "this is what we sell and we have no complaints" does not justify the reality. I generally got 'caught'. Be careful about what you buy - Related Photos are attached.

    Photo-1 - Two Batteries and the charger - Supposedly 36V / 8Ah

Photo-2 - The Battery without a Cover. The charging control circuit and the Label 36V / 8Ah are visible.

Photo-3 - The 5 battery cells that are present and the positions of the 5 battery cells that are missing are visible.

Photo-4 - The capacity of 2000mAh is visible - and not 8000mAh and the Battery cell Model 18650

Photo-5 - The battery is shown in a charging state. At full charge, it can show 5*4.2V = 22.0V. If it were 36V (10 battery cells, the voltage in a charging state would be from 40V..44V)

DANGEROUS product. Its chain constantly comes off.
Instead of 36V, its batteries are 20V (at maximum charge)! I imagine that even 5Ah is not possible (180Wh). For such a battery, approximately 12 elements, e.g. 18650 Li-ion battery with double their normal size, would be needed (since the capacity of a good brand cell is approximately 3Ah) or 24 normal-sized 18650 cells.

I couldn't use it at all since the chain kept coming off.

    STAY AWAY
