The Fjallraven Kanken is a classic Kånken backpack made of cotton Vinylon fabric with a full-length zipper that opens the main compartment of the backpack.

It features a removable seat cushion, a small front pocket, two flat side pockets, simple shoulder straps, and top handles.

The Kånken backpack was created in 1978 to help prevent spinal problems for children going to school. Due to its good construction, it quickly became famous throughout Sweden.
