Herd Immunity is a party game with a very clear instruction: Don't stray from the herd. It starts with a random question and everyone secretly writes an answer. If your answer is the majority's, you win cows. But if you are the only exception, you get stuck with the Pink Cow and your herd is worth nothing. Until you get rid of it, of course.
