Six years after the battle of Lunapolis, the headquarters of "DonPachi" on the Moon detected a disturbance in spacetime. Upon investigation, it was discovered that a significant amount of material had been transferred from the past. The culprit was Exy, an elemental doll that had been abandoned during a previous battle six years ago. A new battle begins between Axie, who aims to rewrite history, and the DonPachi army, determined to stop her. The action takes place in Japan in May 2008, plunging the world into war once again.
