Description

The MGR MER 20LT dehumidifier has the capacity to absorb 20 liters of water within 24 hours.

It is suitable for open spaces up to 80m², in order to maintain the humidity of the space at normal levels.

Benefits of Use

Creates the conditions for the air to be more "comfortable", while removing the natural and visible signs of humidity, such as mold on the walls or condensation in the form of water droplets on the windows.
Helps prevent conditions caused by high humidity, such as allergies and asthma.
During the winter months, it increases the room temperature by up to 3°C, resulting in reduced heating costs, thus saving money.

Removable Water Tank

It features a removable water tank with a capacity of 2.3 liters, which for the smooth operation of the device must be emptied regularly, and occasionally cleaned with soap and water to prevent mold formation.

Additionally, the water collected in the dehumidifier's tank is deionized and can be used for applications where we do not want water with salts, such as in car windshield wipers. However, be cautious, it is not of such high purity to come into contact with clean clothes, so it is not recommended for use in a steam iron.

WiFi Function

There is the possibility of Wi-Fi connection, allowing you to control the device even when you are not at home. Choose any time you wish, from wherever you are, to easily activate your dehumidifier through your mobile phone or tablet.

Automatic Restart

Function that automatically restarts the dehumidifier after a power outage.

Drain Connection

With the drainage connection function, forget about emptying the water tank forever. Simply connect the drainage hose to the device and place it in the drain siphon.
This way, the water tank does not need to be emptied every time it fills up. It is recommended for use in areas where there is a major humidity problem and the water tank will fill up very often, such as a basement or a storage room.

Timer

It features a timer, which helps you schedule its operating hours and automatically turn it on/off at the time you have set.
This way, energy costs are reduced, thus saving energy and money.

    Well, first time with a dehumidifier so I don't have previous experience. It was placed in a 70sqm basement with a lot of humidity and managed to bring it down from 75-80% to 45-50% and definitely made a difference on the upper floor as well. The noise on the big setting personally doesn't bother me because it's for a professional space and not a home, but the small setting, which is quite silent, also does its job for maintenance. As for the positives, the wifi is great, the connection is a breeze and it comes in handy if you forget to turn it on or if you want to activate it remotely, etc. As for the downsides, the water tank is small, but it also has a drainage connection, so it's not a big issue. I don't have an opinion on the consumption yet and I haven't started the process of measuring it, it will show on the bill. There are definitely better machines out there, but not for this price. Now, whether it's reliable or not, time will tell.
