There is nothing not to like about this card. Stay away from brands (AMD, NVIDIA, INTEL). Make sure it has a good price for the FPS you desire. That's it (FPS/euro)
I mainly use it for gaming on a Xiaomi 2K monitor (1440p - 165hz) and it has tremendous performance, reaching steadily over 100-120 FPS on most heavy games I have tried on High/Ultra settings at 1440p resolution. Even on a TV with native 4K, it easily hits 60-80 FPS (e.g. Baldur's Gate 3), without upscaling.
Temperatures are quite cool, usually around 30-33 C° at idle, while in heavy games it reaches 50-60 C° with a hotspot at 60-70 C° (in a Corsair 4000D case after a slightly modified fan curve via AMD Adrenaline). It has two fans that are quite quiet even at over 80% usage.
It has overclocking and undervolting capabilities for a gain of around 5 to 10 FPS depending on the game, and a slight reduction in power consumption.
Aesthetically it's nothing special, but the sleek black with red details fits well with many cases and components.
I haven't encountered any driver issues so far, which is notorious for AMD.
Flawless in everything, so far no issues with the adrenaline software, no lag or crashing, it doesn't freeze at all regarding 2k resolution, especially in competitive games it easily delivers 144fps without drops, of course the processor one has also plays a role. It doesn't raise temperatures, overclocking doesn't have much margin but it does it comfortably as it goes, although personally I have undervolted it automatically from the adrenaline, not manually, and because I didn't see any loss of performance, I kept it that way. It doesn't make noise, and compared to the 4070 it is absolutely value for money purchase, as it excels in performance, price. I have it with a platinum 750 power supply without any issues, it is also good to be combined with an amd processor and a motherboard that supports smart access memory for maximum results. Finally, the ray tracing that Nvidia cunningly sells to overprice its cards, leaves me indifferent, I never felt the need to activate it visually in any game, so I have no opinion on whether it performs well or not.

It surpasses the RTX 4070 12GB by 12 to 28% depending on the game (without Raytracing ON always). Very cool with only 30-33c Idle and without the Fans working and in WOW Dragonflight 4K@144hz all on ULTRA it keeps the game stable and with temperatures after 4 hours permanently in Dungeon Heroic Farm (Tank that does Render all the effects around you). it reached 94% 67-69cc.
I think I have no words... it consumes violently 285watt which with a 750w psu you are definitely covered. I have a 5800x3D cpu with 2x16GB 3600mhz Teamgroup Ram. no bottleneck and wow is a more CPU greedy game. The 16GB helps as in 4K wow needs 7-10GB while in 1080p 3-5GB.
I think if you make a 1000-1200€ build and don't include it you will regret it.. Especially when the immediately below 7700 XT costs 456-487€ same implementation and has the same performance as the RTX 4070. Also NVIDIA has a way... In Raytracing it's great but in raw performance at 500€ it hasn't released anything.. RTX 4070 costs 600-650€ a simple version and 4070 super/ TI / SUPER TI (as if I see dragonball) cost 850-1199€ double the price almost...! If you use RT nvidia is the choice but if you don't use RT I think the answer is one way.
P.S. Let's not start with the Drivers... from 23.01 until the 24.xx I have now, either with RX 5700 XT or with RX 7800 XT (and I have tried them all it's my second job) it hasn't frozen or crashed a game or software. And I am a person who does not respect the product... I pay 100% of the price I will bring it to 100% operation and capability...! So Drivers buy without fear.
For 1440p 144hz Ultrawide and below, it's just what you need! Quiet, no coil whine in its own sample at least, and in my case, I play everything locked at 144fps and many times it gives me this result while working well below 100%. And of course, 16GB VRAM.
This particular card was purchased at a price of 520 euros (with a 20 euro Scroutz coupon), which was the lowest on the market. It easily fits in a Mid case compared to most others that are 32cm and more. I was skeptical about the 2 fan setup it has, but it is actually completely silent under full load with 65 degrees on the core and 82 on the hotspot (of course, the case being very cool - HAF XB Evo - also plays a role).
It was undervolted/overclocked from the first moment with the settings you see in the image and has reached levels of about 6950.
The maximum wattage it can draw is 280 with the power limit at maximum, unlike other implementations that reach 300. I mention this just in case you might lose around 80-90 Mhz in potential overclocking (2-3 fps in real gaming at 120)
I can't understand why sometimes when I render, the computer freezes and the screen goes black. With my previous one (1080), it never happened to me. I don't know what's causing it... I don't think it's the power supply because sometimes it happens even when it's not rendering and there's no power outage. I hope a solution will be found in a future update.
-update 2-1-2024: The computer continues to crash. Not always, but without a specific moment for me to determine. However, it's a known issue with the graphics card that I researched online. It's a problem with the 7800xt.
