The card is a beast, when it works properly you are amazed by its power, you set everything to ultra and don't worry about it again. But the drivers are simply terrible. I bought it in April 2024, for 2 months it worked great, but with the update 24.6.1 that happened in July it went haywire. I couldn't play BF2042 for more than 20 minutes, I did a clean install of the new drivers, I formatted but still the same. It has crashed in Rust, Insurgency, Ghost of Tsushima, BF, abiotic factor, Valheim.

After the 24.8.1 update of Adrenalin, the system has stabilized somewhat.
I got it for 550€, an excellent card for its price and very good implementation by Sapphire. The build quality is amazing, and because it has a 2kg cooler on top, it doesn't heat up and the fans don't sound like an airplane turbine. I don't know if there is a better value for money in this category, maybe in terms of performance, but if you include aesthetics, build quality, and performance together, I am very satisfied.
Very good card and quite powerful in gaming. Like all AMD cards, it falls behind the competition in RT and the truth is that with 50 euros more I would go for a 7900GRE. It needs a large case and if you increase the fans, it sounds (but generally it won't be necessary, especially if you under volt).
Very powerful card and the best choice for those looking for something equivalent to the 4070 as it is slightly more powerful and at a lower price than the nvidia (for now). I have an ultrawide monitor at 3440x1440 and it runs Battlefield 2042 ultra at 140 fps so I don't think anyone will have an issue in this area. The only issue is the size, as it appears compared to a 5700 xt. It's a beast so there should be enough space inside the pc. I had to remove the sound card I had so as not to block its cooling.
It's worth the money and more. Quiet and efficient. Large in size but fits comfortably in a midi tower.
The card is a beast in performance, I am very satisfied.
At this stage, anyone who wants to go for 2K gaming should get it blindly.
It is the best value for money available in the market.
The only issue is that it came with a faulty fan, but I am in the process of replacement since Sapphire has stated that in case a fan is defective, you don't need to send the whole card for replacement. So, I will come back with my experience with Sapphire's customer service department, which so far seems to be quite professional.

Update: 5/6/24
After a few months and minimal use, the card started having issues and I sent it back with a warranty. I have no idea what exactly happened, but it's similar to what another person mentioned about this specific card. I was using my PC yesterday, just on the desktop, and suddenly the screen went black (no signal) and the fans on the card went to 100%. I had to forcibly restart it from the button. Since then, it keeps happening whether it's right after the PC starts or after 5-10 minutes. Additionally, in the device manager, I got error 22 for the card, and AMD Adrenaline wasn't working, giving me error 207. At one point, after a restart, I got red and blue dots all over the screen, which is not a good sign. I tried every solution I found online, reinstalling drivers, reinstalling adrenaline, but nothing worked. Only once, when I uninstalled the card from the device manager and let Windows reinstall it automatically, it seemed to fix itself. I tried playing a game to test it, and everything seemed fine, no temperature issues or anything, but after 10 minutes, it happened again. I probably got a faulty piece, but overall, AMD seems to have many problems, as I've seen online. Others have similar issues and don't know how to fix them. I used Nvidia for years, changed at least 4-5 cards, and never had any issues. It was a big mistake to try AMD. Stay away, kids, it's better to spend a bit more for Nvidia. I will update again.
Update: 9/6/24
After a lot of trouble, I sat down and completely disassembled my PC. I removed and reinstalled all the components, and I used DDU to clear uninstall/install the drivers in safe mode with no internet connection, following the program's instructions. Now, it doesn't seem to have any issues, but it's still unacceptable to have such problems for no reason and to go through these procedures. At first glance, it seemed like a faulty piece when I saw the artifacts and the device not being recognized, especially considering I paid 650 euros. What else can you think? From now on, I will be afraid to update the drivers after everything I went through. I repeat, it's a common occurrence for AMD to have these kinds of problems. There's chaos in the forums. So, if you choose AMD, be extremely careful with the drivers. However, the card can handle everything in Full HD, which is what I play, and even 2K comfortably. But if I had the opportunity, I would go for Nvidia without hesitation.
If you play World of Warcraft, do not buy AMD. Spend an extra 50 bucks and get an NVIDIA card.
I built the PC in November 2023 with a 7800X3D and everything was fine. I checked the power supply, fans, cooling, everything. While it ran great and without any issues in the first few days, suddenly, either due to a new driver or a new patch, the game became unplayable. Driver timeouts everywhere. 5-10 seconds of black screen and the PC freezing. I've tried every tip I could find on forums, Reddit, YouTube, anything I could find on Google. Everyone had their own remedy, but no conclusive solution. I should have paid 50€ more instead of wasting all this time. The only solution to prevent crashes is to switch to DX11, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable. Just like the fact that the problems haven't been fixed for a month.
Whether we like it or not, NVIDIA has the largest market share. In such matters, when there are issues, NVIDIA will be the first to solve them because they affect more users and they have more data to see what's going wrong.
Other than that, the card is great and worth it. Just not if you play this particular game.
Finally, the times have come again when you don't have to give a kidney to get a decent card. In our case, the 7800xt is clearly superior to the 4070 obviously. However, you should forget about Ray Tracing and don't expect any improvement in Ray Tracing from AMD in general, as they have stated that they are not interested in it.
16 gigs is the best for high resolutions. It performs well in 2K and can play many games in 4K at 60 FPS. Just keep in mind that if you play in 1080p and many frames (e.g. 240 or 360), unfortunately, this specific card doesn't perform well. For example, with the 6750xt benchmark compared to the 7800xt, I only saw a 7% difference in 1080p! While in 2K, it's over 35%. So I would say it's designed for 2K. It's logical because it doesn't make sense to get such a beast and play in 1080p. Everyone is moving forward, and you're stuck in the past. Let go of 1080p and switch to 2K.
The sexiest implementation of all the 7800 xt cards is the one from Sapphire. Generally, I never had any issues with Sapphire like black screens, flickering, and so on. But I have had issues with other brands.
Don't worry too much about the power supply. Even if you have a 750 gold, you're fine.
However, you should know that you generally need a good PC for your card to perform at its best. It's not just about putting in a card and being done with it. If you have a somewhat old processor, you will see minimal difference, and it will purely be a processor issue.
I've seen temperatures up to 60-65, but I've seen it go up to 85 in hot spots. (Oh, ever since they introduced this hot spot, it has created psychological issues for us.)
Also, if you're into PCVR (I have the Pico 4), that's where you will truly understand what card you've got. At first, the drivers were not good for PCVR. But they have fixed it, and it's working perfectly now.
In conclusion, if you have a 2K 170Hz monitor, a good processor, motherboard, and fast memory, go for it. If you have a 1080p 240Hz monitor, a good processor, motherboard, and fast memory, don't get it. If you have an old processor and an overall outdated system, then you should know that if you get it, you will need a complete upgrade.

I built a new PC and took the opportunity to switch from NVIDIA to AMD after many years. I can say that I am extremely satisfied with my choice. In combination with an i7-13700k and 32GB DDR5, the result is very powerful. AMD, with the 7 series, has closed the gap even further with NVIDIA. These powerful cards now compete with the 40 series and the green company in general. This particular implementation is one of the best in the series. SAPPHIRE proves that it is rightfully considered one of the best companies.

- Let's talk about the size. It's a big card, so you need to be careful when choosing a case.
If we're talking about raw power, the 7800xt is the way to go in this price range. It outperforms the more expensive 4070 in most games, approaching the much more expensive 4070ti. Personally, I'm not interested in frame generation or ray tracing. Anyone interested in these technologies should go for NVIDIA. Lastly, I haven't encountered any problems with drivers or any other issues that some AMD cards had in the past, which is another area that the company has improved.
Very powerful! The performance is impeccable in everything I have done so far. The only reason I give it a 4 is because of the coil whine that happens to be present in my card. In games that use a lot of watts (usually over 230 watts), there is a high-frequency "grinding" sound, which is quite annoying if I don't wear headphones. It started after the first ten days of use and I haven't checked if it's covered by the warranty because it's not a problem that will damage the card. I use the be quiet straight power 11 850w as a power supply. Maybe the combination of the two is responsible, I don't know.
Amazing card, I saw a significant difference compared to the 6700 XT that I had, and overall, after overclocking, it performs 60-80% better, and some games even more, for example, Dead Space Remake (150 FPS+), Cyberpunk (130 FPS+), RE 4 Remake (230 FPS+), Dead Island 2 (180 FPS+), Hogwarts Legacy (130 FPS+), and many others.
With FSR 3, simply double the aforementioned numbers.
Temperatures with 275 Watts (I have seen it go up to 368W momentarily) are good considering the room temperature of 28C+.
I saw a maximum of 65C globally with a hotspot of 92C with fans at 50%.
Also, the +15 power limit (320 Watts) is not worth it due to the small increase in core clock (50-100 MHz+), which is at most a 1-2% gain in performance, but with temperatures increased by 12C in the global and 18C in the hotspot with fans at 50%, reaching a maximum of 77C and 110C, which is prohibitive for the hotspot.
It has minimal coil whine and overall is a quiet card; you have to go above 2500 rpm to actually hear it.
I leave the final overclocking settings in the photo, it is incredibly stable and can handle everything at maximum with the UWQH LG 34850-B monitor in many demanding AAA titles at a resolution of 3440p x 1440p.
I have seen the clocks stable at 2800+ with sometimes reaching around 3000+.
With the overclock, it gained approximately 16%+ more performance and starts to approach the 4070ti, which is around 300-400+ euros more expensive. As for the 4070, I don't even consider it, with a difference of 200+ euros for the respective top-end models and losing 25%+ in performance.
For those who want lower temperatures and less power consumption, I also tried undervolting the profile, you will only lose 5-10% performance, but with a room temperature of 26C+, it reached 54C globally with a maximum hotspot of 75C at 243W.
The metal construction is unique compared to other cards.
At the price of around 610 euros that I bought it for, it is definitely worth it.
Upgrade from gtx1080. Day and night. The card is a beast, both in performance and size. It has quite a weight and it's a pretty long card. I had to remove the fridge for it to fit. As for temperatures/noise, I can tell you that with all the case fans at maximum, after half an hour of stress testing, it had reached 67 degrees but at the same time it was silent. The case fans were much louder! Incredibly cool with very little noise. As for performance, I ran some benchmarks for you to see. In games, I tried warzone at 4k render resolution, all maxed out and AA somewhere in the middle. The card managed to achieve 95-100fps avg with 1% around 60-70fps! (cpu: 5800x ram: 32gb 3200mhz) Sapphire once again did not disappoint! Wait a bit, maybe the price will drop a little more! Also, I want to emphasize that in warzone with the settings I mentioned, it was using 15gb of vram. Which means that the equivalent of the Nvidia 4070 (since it has 12gb of vram) would never be able to run it unless you lowered the texture quality. Conclusion from my experience? A monster!
