When hair has been damaged, its molecular structure, which consists of peptides, is compromised. The hair becomes weak, highly elastic, and lacks movement. However, most peptides are too large to be added to the interior of the hair, making the damage almost irreversible.
For the first time, L'Oréal's advanced research department has managed to break down peptides in order to introduce their components, which are amino acids and peptide bonds, separately into the interior of the hair. Once the amino acids and peptide bonds are added to the interior of the hair, they reconstruct the hair's molecular structure.
