It is handmade and carved, decorated with a feather and gives a vintage feel. With calligraphy pens, you should continuously dip their tip into the ink contained in the package. Before writing on paper, make sure that the tip is at a 45ᵒ angle for the best ink flow. Also, before you start, do some tests to see how the ink works with the tip and the paper you have.

Proper pen maintenance instructions:
• Remove the tip from the holder when not using the pen.
• After finishing writing, clean the ink from the tip with water or alcohol, as if the ink dries, it forms a solid crust on the tip that is difficult to clean.
• In case ink falls on the ring of the holder (i.e., the point that holds the tip) clean it with alcohol or water.
• Make sure the holder and the tip are dry, in order to avoid rusting.
