Unfortunately, it is not suitable for cold beverages and the reason is that the plastic comes off and gets lost. The device is made for hot beverages

Since you have searched a lot and would be willing to spend over 30€ to buy a thermal contigo, I imagine you expect, just like me, to get the best. However, the reality is different.
It does keep the temperature of the beverage, but because it is expensive, it will be judged more strictly, so you should know that:
1. It does not fit in a car cup holder.
2. Whenever you drink and close it, there is always a drop left, so you cannot drink and then put it in your bag, for example.
3. If you have a hot beverage, the trapped steam causes a small "explosion" accompanied by the splashing of the aforementioned drop. Most of the time, this happens on your face as you take the thermal to drink, giving you a feeling that someone spat on you (no joke). Also, if you are somewhere quiet, each opening-explosion is heard loudly. I repeat, this only happens with hot beverages.
4. After a few months of use, the rubber that seals the lid with the cup becomes loose, resulting in LEAKS. If you tighten it more than necessary, the alignment of the letters with the spout is compromised and it wrinkles on the rubber, risking to tear.
5. It does not take a straw.
6. The interior has been stained by coffee (I only clean it with a sponge).
7. The plastic lid is very soft. It leaves marks and requires caution not to drop it.

Update 12/2023: I bought a thermal from Starbucks, which I have been using for 2 years now for everyday use, and I can say that it is perfect

Exactly what I was looking for.
It keeps any temperature for several hours, no leaks at all and very good build quality for everyday use.
It's worth its money.
I recommend it.
