I have to say that I am very satisfied both with its price and its performance. It is small in size, so it is convenient for almost all boxes out there if not for all. It is quiet and has absolutely no issues with its temperatures.
Unacceptable implementation by Gigabyte.
Let me make it clear that I have no problem with the 4060 chipset, despite its lower performance compared to the 3060. Power consumption matters to me, so I am satisfied.
The huge problem is its cooling. Seriously, they put a fan that spins clockwise and another one counterclockwise in 2024? It is proven that it doesn't work properly and disrupts the airflow.
Now let's talk about the cooling. Are they serious? Just one heat pipe? Even cards from 10 years ago had more than that. And not only did they put just one, but it only covers a quarter of the core. They have direct contact instead of using a plate to distribute the temperature.
Now let's talk about the backplate. You would think it at least has cooling on top with thermal pads and a metal backplate... Oh no, it has a plastic backplate that offers absolutely nothing, in fact, it traps the heat.
It's like Gigabyte said, "What's the worst cooling solution we can come up with?" Well, that's exactly what they did. It's truly laughable.
At least I removed the 4 screws from the plate and the 4 from the cooling, and got rid of this plastic nonsense they put on. Now the core can get some air from the case airflow, resulting in a 5-7 degree decrease, and both fans don't constantly run at full speed.
I will also change the thermal paste to a decent one because if I judge by what I saw, they probably used toothpaste as the thermal paste.
Stay away... it's very noisy and reaches temperatures of 80 degrees in a case with high airflow and 3 120mm push fans and 3 120mm pull fans.
Very good card for gaming and work with graphic design programs. Daily use and without noise or overheating issues. A good airflow in the tower is always a prerequisite.
The connection cable with the motherboard is not included. After researching in the market, I couldn't find a compatible one. If I had known, I would have bought it from a physical store along with the cable
Perfect graphics card
Cooling is not sufficient. It can go above 73C when gaming with a hotspot around 90C!
Performance is good and compared to other 4060 it is one of the cheapest.
Very good for 1080p gaming. Quite good for an entry level game development with Unreal/Unity. Mediocre at 1440p gaming.
DLSS 3 really shines if it is supported by the game.
In general, it is a card that will satisfy 90% of the things that everyone will need. Connected to 2 2K screens. It will play most games in 2K High graphics except for the very new AAA games that it won't handle and of course all without Ray Tracing. As for productivity, it is very good with decent times and of course all the new features of NVidia. The only downside is the temperature and noise. The card is too small, resulting in it not being able to cool properly. That's why the fans reach up to 85% speed many times, resulting in the whole PC sounding only like that. It's better to go for the Gigabyte Eagle if you want to keep your head calm.
Purchased for €300. The card is worth it if you come from an old build. Definitely not worth it for an upgrade from a 3060. Definitely not future proof. The positive aspect is its size (it is small, so it fits in most builds). It consumes little power. It uses DLSS3. I recommend it for 1080p gaming if someone specifically wants to get Nvidia.
This specific graphics card surprised me when I took it out of the packaging and saw that it is slightly smaller in size than I expected. I have also read complaints online that it gets quite hot due to its small cooler (which justifies the small size of the card). Here I have to say that I have not noticed such behavior regarding temperatures so far. After 10 minutes of running benchmarks, I have seen maximum temperatures up to 68 degrees Celsius. I let it run a little longer and it still stayed at 67-68 degrees. As for the 8GB VRAM, which some criticize as being insufficient, I have nothing to complain about personally, as it suits me just fine. Overall, it is an excellent card for gaming, 3D modeling in Blender, and game development with Unity or Unreal. The only thing that bothers me (and surely many others) and why I gave it 4 stars is the high price at 380€.

There are thousands of videos to watch comparing performance between competitors. 4060, 7600, 6650, 3060ti, 6700xt, and whatever else is available around 300 euros.
However, no one cares about power consumption. So go ahead and buy whatever you want... whatever they sell you, and pay for it every quarter to the power company! Let's see which one is cheaper.
50-60-80w power consumption per hour, multiplied by how many hours you play games per day, we said?... for how many months?... let me see you!! So, only 4060! Because the power company is waiting for you!... keep searching for the one that gives you 5 extra frames.
