7 stars if it had them I would give them for the job I bought it for.. Shaves ceilings that require mandatory and complete removal of old plaster for proper ceiling repair. At slow speeds on impact with gentle pressure it matches and removes rusted rebar from rust..!!! Incredibly convenient and comfortable in the handle and light when you need to dig with your hands high.. 2nd total renovation in the house and it sings. .. No need to strain it shaves with the wide chisel of the Dewalt sds plus and with a mixer you easily fill half a 25 kilo bag of cement without straining. The tool for all jobs. With a good four-cutter drill it goes into concrete like butter. Worth the money as much as any other tool I have bought from Skroutz and of course thanks to your reviews... Thank you
I have had it for 14 years and it has endured all kinds of impacts. I have mainly worn it out and it still works like the first day. At this price, I will now buy another one for my son to have later (he is 2.5 years old now).
Excellent and good that I bought this because it is lightweight and powerful. I bought it for electrical work, channels, and drilling holes. If I had bought a heavier and more powerful one, I believe it would have been difficult for me to use. As for durability, we will see. I have previously had a Makita made in the UK, which was good. This one is made in Poland

I had a parkside drill which also paid off and I had no problem, but when the trigger broke, I couldn't find spare parts. From the first hole you make with the Makita, you understand why it has such a name. What can we say now? And its price is ridiculous from the moment you know it is one of the top companies. It's just not suitable for heavy drilling in concrete. It is powerful and lightweight for bricks. I recommend it with my eyes closed.
If you want something to do your job and not hesitate, definitely get it. I have bought it twice for work (cooling) and I have dug a lot of concrete and bricks, it doesn't hesitate at all
I have it for a year. I used it for wall demolition, to remove some tiles, and for holes in the wall (brick and concrete) and I was very satisfied. Time will show its durability.
For the money, it's almost perfect. What I didn't like is the handle. To change positions, you have to pull your hair, so it's better not to use it at all. Of course, it's something I noticed when I bought it, but I still believe that it will be difficult to change the position of the handle later on. Other than that, it works very well, it's stable and sturdy. I believe it will last for years, just like a Makita.
The drill was used for multiple drillings in reinforced concrete with a double-edged drill bit of 20mm diameter at a depth of 30cm. It completed the job but struggled quite a bit and tired me out. The power is insufficient for such tasks and it shows.

In chiseling mode, things improve and it performs well. This classifies the drill in the light professional category. Do not expect it to perform if you are drilling concrete extensively and with a diameter larger than 15mm.

Also, the handle locks in place and it is difficult to change its position/angle during work. Overall, it is a good tool but do not expect it to drill reinforced concrete like butter. For the price and the brand of the drill, I expected something more.
A very good machine that pays for itself and more. I had the same one purchased in 2012, if I remember correctly, for 270 euros. After a lot of work, the impact broke, so I decided to buy the same one again. Unfortunately, I didn't go to see it in person and ordered it online. I assumed it was a good opportunity with such a big price difference. The fact that there was nothing else in the box except the drill and the instruction manual didn't bother me, as I mentioned before, I already have the same one, so I have plenty of drills and bits of all kinds. My big disappointment was when I saw the head of it. Unfortunately, for some reason (probably cost reduction), they made the head non-removable, resulting in it only accepting SDS attachments, unlike the old one that had a special chuck to accept any type of attachment. You could remove the SDS, put the regular chuck, and use whatever you wanted! I have some very expensive drill bits that are now useless. The machine remains equally top-notch in its performance, it's just not as versatile and it restricts you. I would still recommend it blindly to someone looking for a quality and reliable tool. Just be careful, if someone has non-SDS attachments, they will have to buy them all from scratch. For example, if I knew this beforehand, personally, I wouldn't have bought it. Otherwise, as I said, it's a top-notch tool.
Really, a black dog and specifically for its money is a must-buy whether you are a professional or an amateur. It is lightweight, powerful, without strong vibrations despite not having anti-vibration technology and hard. It fell from 3 meters of stairs and it didn't even scratch. A tool that every household should have. The easiest 5-star rating I have given.
Excellent value for money, I have used many well-known tools a thousand times and this one is much better than any other costing 600+ euros. Keep in mind that I use an SDS masonry drill bit of 6 millimeters for drilling into brick and floor.

When I first used it, I felt foolish for all the years I struggled to drill a hole with other machines... It drills through tiles and beams effortlessly, without me even exerting pressure or breaking a sweat... I made the mistake of getting an adapter chuck to use my old drill bits. It had so much power that it screwed the bit into the wall! The adapter chuck was slipping around the round base of the bit, and I was afraid to remove it from the wall! Since then, only SDS bits for me!
Okay.. the well-known quality of Makita, which we are accustomed to, and with up to 24 diamond drills, I put it on and drill concrete, it's quite enough for construction work with a chisel needle....

Guys, I have had it for 2-3 years, it has broken bricks and holes from everyday use, it hasn't suffered anything else, only the clutch, which is logical considering the treatment it has received. Very good tool indeed. One thing that bothers me a little is a circular switch that is sometimes pressed unintentionally by your thumb, causing the tool to lock and work continuously. So I don't know how safe it is (for now)... so with a little practice, you can avoid it
