It is value for money. Nothing more, nothing less. I bought it because of the price and the reviews. It is exactly what I expected! As for the comments saying that it smells burnt, personally, before using it on my hair, I let it heat up on its own for about half an hour at the maximum temperature to burn off any plastic or glue it may have (like any new electrical appliance), and I used it afterwards without any problems or smells. Now, as for the comments saying that it damages the hair, I don't think anything needs to be mentioned! All devices, especially when used incorrectly, can damage the hair, and this has nothing to do with the product. Finally, some people mention the "cheap" construction and poor heat insulation, but I didn't feel that because I use it at low temperatures (~=180°C) where it is very effective. A very honest straightener and curler at a beautiful price.

Very powerful, but unfortunately compared to other 230 degrees, it burns the hair. It smells burnt and leaves the hair like straw. However, I must say it is very powerful and effective. So, once in a while...
I bought the hair straightener in December 2018 and I have been using it daily since then!
It is a reliable hair straightener for its price and I have never had any issues.
Stay away....I bought it because I saw good reviews. I made a big mistake. It smells like burnt plastic after several uses. I returned it as defective, but the store did not recognize it as a faulty product. You can't even use it as a joke because it makes your hair smell burnt. It's not worth the 25 euros I paid. If you don't want to cry over your money, get something more reliable and spend an extra 20-30 euros. In the end, cheap turns out to be expensive....LAW
I could never manage to straighten and style my hair nicely with a brush and a hairdryer, so I bought this straightener. Well, even I, who couldn't manage it, can do it very quickly and easily with this one! Of course, I use it for finishing touches, after straightening my hair a bit with a brush and a hairdryer. I never smelled plastic, as some people claim, nor did I burn my hair, because I don't put it on the highest setting and I just quickly pass it through each section - which is more than enough to straighten and make my hair shine. I highly recommend it!
It is one of the best hair straighteners!!! It is lightweight, heats up quickly, straightens the hair in a few minutes, and leaves it soft! It even keeps the hair beautiful in humid and rainy weather! I had a more expensive one from the same company that made my hair frizzy and couldn't hold the straightness at all! It is definitely worth the money!
I have had this specific straightener for 6 years and have been using it regularly for 3 out of those 6 years without it experiencing any issues whatsoever. It is one of the best straighteners I have tried as it not only straightens the hair easily but also keeps it straight! It is clearly a great value for money!
For its price, it is excellent. I have curly hair with thick strands and it straightens them perfectly. It heats up in seconds and effectively does its job. As for those who say it burns the hair, simply lower the temperature. It is logical for it to burn your hair at 200+ degrees
Economical and lightweight. The positives stop there. I was looking for a good straightener for my mother to use to straighten a few fringes or the ends of her hair because she has a bob haircut. Reading the many good reviews and also having another model from Remington myself, I ended up with this one. My mother was not satisfied at all and recently, when I happened to use it, I understood the reasons why. It burns the hair a lot, it also burns as a device itself, and because the plates do not close well, in order to have effective straightening, you have to press them with your hand and you also get burned. You have to pass the same tuft many times to straighten it and in the end, the straightening did not last for me, not even until the next day, nor for the same evening. Of course, I do not recommend it.
It is very good for its price. It heats up quickly, straightens hair easily, and most importantly, it easily and quickly creates curls. The only downside is the strong plastic smell it emits during the first uses when heated, to the point where the smell transfers to the hair. I bought it 5 years ago and used it daily. It heats up very quickly and is very easy to use, while the result lasts at least 3 days. Its downside is that, despite using heat protection spray before each straightening, it damages the hair a lot and I needed keratin treatment at least once a year. Unfortunately, after 5 years, its cable broke and it was emitting smoke, so I had to withdraw it.

First of all, it is lightweight and doesn't tire the hand, it heats up in a few seconds, it straightens amazingly without electrifying the hair, and it maintains the perfect result. It's definitely worth the 20€ and more! Plus, it comes with a carrying case and a magical button to close the press without it being open! Simply PERFECT!!!
We have 2 of this particular product, we have had them for 5 years and both my mother and I are completely satisfied. I have curly hair and she has straight hair, and yet the 180 Max 200 degrees are enough for us to have a wonderful, long-lasting result without damaging our hair. Fantastic!

It makes straight hair straight in 15 minutes. It doesn't make your hair frizzy, it smooths nicely with the hair and the result lasts a long time. Very good job even on curls!!!
It smells a bit when I turn it on and I feel like my hair is being damaged quite a bit by this straightener. I can't say that I was particularly satisfied. For now, it gets the job done, but I will probably buy a better one in the future.
