For its price (around 360 euros), it is definitely worth it. Firstly, it has low power consumption, approximately 110w, and amazing 1080p performance (it can handle everything). It can also handle 1440p, but soon the 8gb vram won't be enough... for those who want 1440p in new AAA titles, I recommend the 4070. It has perfect performance for video editing and Photoshop, and the temperatures haven't exceeded 60-65 degrees Celsius during gaming. In conclusion, if the price of the card continues to drop, I highly recommend it without hesitation!
During the first week, I downloaded games to test it because I bought it for 2K gaming... Forza Motorsport, RDR2, Hogwarts Legacy, The Witcher, Arma, Assassin's Creed, and more... It maintains very good temperatures, which I didn't expect with the plastic backplate, and it handles everything at maximum without dropping below 55 degrees. But overall, I play at 70-80 fps in 2K... It's a great value for money
From 1030, here. Whatever I put in, it would definitely be revealing and wow. For rendering that I tried on Davinji, it goes perfectly, however, don't expect any particularly demanding projects. Now, in terms of gaming, because what I play is demanding in terms of GPU, I will say that my CPU has increased its temperature on average. Relatively quiet, I would say, without any additional overclocking or anything like that. The CPU fans are more audible than the graphics card. This is also due to the cooling system of the graphics card, don't be alarmed if you don't hear the fans running, they will kick in when needed. As for installation, it immediately took the drivers due to the previous Nvidia (1030) that I had, so vanilla. It does not come with a power cable, but it will definitely have something inside the power supply in modular cases. Easy to install also on the motherboard, it fits and sits very nicely even in mid-sized cases. I will wait for 8 months to form an opinion and we'll talk again.
Upgrade from Asus GTX 1650 4gb OC with Ryzen 5 3600 and I have been completely satisfied. In the games I tried on a 34-inch ultra-wide curved 3440x1440 100hz monitor, it plays everything on ultra settings at around 60-100 FPS, depending on the game. It doesn't overheat and has very low power consumption. I have a 600W power supply that provides 504W on the +12V rail and it's incredibly comfortable. Some titles I tried include Assassin's Creed Odyssey, A Plague Tale, Uncharted 4, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Horizon Zero Dawn, Resident Evil Remake 2 and 3, various Call of Duty games, etc. There are also significant differences in Blender 3D rendering compared to the previous card. It also works flawlessly with the Asus software that I had installed beforehand and on Linux (Endeavour OS, an Arch Linux-based distro), it worked right away with the same driver as the previous card, and on Windows 10, it installed automatically.
Upgrade from GTX 1060 6gb to a 2018 PC, along with a parallel CPU upgrade. It's a killer for 1080p gaming, it doesn't hold back anywhere, it's quiet, has low power consumption, and stays cool.
