It cuts about half a centimeter from the hair strand. It requires a relatively slow pass through each tuft to clean it, otherwise more passes may be needed. I recommend it to those who want to lengthen their hair. The only negatives are that not all the hairs stay inside the container that collects them, a few fall down, and that it makes a bit of noise. It doesn't have instructions in Greek, but it is very easy to use.
