Nice is another room that does not cool it as much as ice no matter how much I put.... it is a room that the sun hits on a hill... so I did not have high hopes... if I put it in front of me it is good... compared to the regular fan that announces the heat it is definitely better... but what I wanted, that is to cool the room... it does not do it
Obviously you are working us and eating the world's money. It came to me yesterday to throw it away. It doesn't give any freshness.
Better to open a window than to put this.
Look, it's not an air conditioner first of all.. But overall it's a decent choice.. It's definitely an economical solution with only 65W which doesn't cost anything.. And if you put it close, it works like a fan.. The only thing I don't like is the night mode.. The timer is very good..
Unfortunately, I was misled by the positive reviews and bought it. I wonder about the positive comments, especially those that mention it lowering the room temperature... not even close. The reality is as follows: if you are considering getting a fan, it might be better to get an air cooler that provides a minimal additional sense of coolness. That's about it.
I was reading the comments below, and there are people who expected it to change the room temperature or to be like an air conditioner, let's say. That's why it's called an air cooler, it's between a fan and an air conditioner. Air coolers recycle the existing room air, and after filtering it, it comes out a little cooler and is distributed in the space. In other words, they add humidity, that's why it says in the description that it is suitable for DRY spaces. This particular one has the following negatives: It makes quite a bit of noise, especially at level 2 and of course at level 3. The sleep mode is not suitable for sleeping, as it alternates all speeds, so it makes noise. Also, the water pipe can be heard. Of course, you can have it in normal mode without the cool feature that uses water, so it doesn't make noise. The external louvers move manually so it's a bit of a hassle, and you generally have to find the right spot for it to hit you, otherwise you put it on swing. The tank is not detachable so you have to turn it all around to empty the water, and if you fill it up, it empties in about 3 to 4 hours. If you use colder water, you will have cooler air, and this coolness lasts for about an hour and it's logical, as the water warms up outside the refrigerator over time. Generally, don't expect anything more than this one. The POSITIVES are that the air is quite powerful, it has wheels to move around, it has a remote control which is convenient and it is economical. From nothing, for the summer it's fine anyway. I gave it 4 stars because for this price, it does its job. If I could get a better one, I would change it though.
It cools if you are close/straight. With temperatures up to 32-33, you can withstand without air conditioning. In higher temperatures, the room temperature only decreases with AC. But even then, instead of turning on two ACs simultaneously in a large space, one AC + the air cooler does the job (and saves money).
Waiting to buy an equivalent of an AC for 65€ / 65W is like buying a bicycle thinking you will receive a car. Both have wheels, but that's about it.
Minus one star for the misleading descriptions of all air coolers (cooling the entire space, saving you from hot summer days... yeah right...). Also, the tank doesn't last all night.
I ended up buying a second one.
Okay, in no case is it an air conditioner, I emphasize this so that someone who wants to buy it doesn't get confused... The difference from the classic fan is that it blows cooler air due to water. The days I've been using it, I haven't seen anything negative for now at least... A big advantage is the computer it has... P.S. the colder the water we put, the cooler the air
It is definitely a good purchase for the money. It is not an air conditioner and should not be compared to air conditioners. It is suitable for a medium-sized room. I have it in my country house and finally I can sleep like a human. It consumes only 65 watts, so it is quite economical. I like it and I recommend it if you are looking for an affordable solution with a nice design (and remote control).
Quite cheap plastic construction, when the courier brought me the package 2 months ago, I wondered if there was something inside, the same as the employee. No relation to an air conditioner, essentially it is a fan of moderate intensity at its strongest, with the only difference being that you can put ice cubes and for a short time at a close distance to blow a little cooler air. We even experienced a heatwave so the picture we have is complete. I wish I could return it and get my money back for a simple fan that we wouldn't need to move up and down on furniture to blow where we want.
Unfortunately, I am crying my money. I tried it for 2 nights in the bedroom, not only did it not cool down, but it also produced humidity. Only my feet felt a little cool, down where the air was blowing. And the AC had cold water and ice. Unfortunately, it does not do what it claims.
First of all, we are talking about an air cooler, which is a version of a fan and not an air conditioner. Based on this and with the proper use of cold water and ice packs, I am completely satisfied with the cool air it produces. It doesn't work miracles to cool the room, but there is definitely a difference. The first setting is good and the third setting is very powerful and reaches far. Personally, I use the first setting and sleep with it. With the rotating internal blinds, it covers a sufficient range of space. From me, 5 stars because it does the job for which I bought it.
For a fan it is good, for an air cooler, no! The first level is quiet, but you have to put it at your feet. The second level is better with moderate sound. The third level is unnecessary because the sound is unbearable. You cannot manually turn the internal grilles, you have to put it on swing and wait for it to reach the desired position. The height is problematic as you have to find the right angle + distance + grille angle to catch it properly.
Regarding the air cooler: Put as much ice as you want, even a whole ice column, it will work for 20-30 minutes MAX. Even noisier as you can hear the water mechanism (not even for sleeping). Also, the water drains quickly, so either you forget it in cool mode without water or you have to fill it every 30-45 minutes. Finally, the bottom compartment is not fully detachable, resulting in water remaining and you cannot clean it. In general, water remains in both the top and bottom compartments and you have to turn it upside down to remove it.
Remote control and wheels are a plus, although the cable is quite short.
Overall: A fairly good fan up to that point. I wouldn't return it as it does the job, BUT I would definitely try something else. It certainly doesn't cool down a room, but if you have it directed towards you, then it does the job. Obviously, if it shuts off, you heat up again.
P.S. Obviously, how we perceive heat is subjective
It was purchased a few days ago, it is exactly like a fan, it has no difference. With chilled water, ice cubes, and frozen ice packs, the difference in the air it produced was relatively cooler for the first 20 minutes, which you can only feel if you sit in front of it, and then it produced exactly the same air as a fan. It gets one star clearly because it doesn't do the job it's supposed to do, simply get a fan. I don't know how those people considered it good with their positive comments, but don't buy it.
I don't see any difference in freshness from a classic fan. With a thermometer at 50 degrees, it didn't lower the temperature by a single degree (I had 28). I even put an ice pack in the top compartment. Whether I press the cool button or not, I don't feel any freshness. The first speed is enough, though, because the 2nd and 3rd speeds are very noisy. The sleep mode is only for sleep, as it alternates speeds and makes a lot of noise. It doesn't satisfy at all in the end
What I bought with reservation, because I had not tried something similar before! The truth is that I live in a house with a terrace and it really cools down!! You have the feeling of a summer beach breeze and you sleep comfortably!! It does not dry out the atmosphere! Low consumption based on 65 W and beautiful, practical design!! I believe it is much better than the classic fans!!
First of all, I have to say that I never expected such a floor fan to do such a good job! I live in an attic with all the heat that comes with it, and I can say that the coolness is quite noticeable for this type of machine! It is definitely worth its money and I think it is quite economical in terms of consumption!
I really liked the fact that it refers to economic consumption. Performance in my room was quite good. It is quiet during operation so it did not bother me. We look forward to seeing the electricity bill (I am optimistic). I will come back if needed with a rephrasing of the review, for now everything is very good.
We will use it for our summer house in Halkidiki, quite lightweight for easy transportation. It cools down almost immediately as I tried it at home. I liked it visually as it fits our space. Very satisfied I must say!!!
I got it as a gift for my girlfriend and we are really satisfied. It works by pouring water into the 4-liter tank it has, while we have it plugged in. If you add ice cubes, you feel even cooler. You can adjust the intensity and program it to automatically shut off after a period of time. It has a quiet operation during sleep and a remote control with batteries to control it from a distance. It helped us in the room where we don't have an air conditioner, quite capable of cooling it down! At 65W it is quite economical in consumption, definitely a value for money product, I will definitely get a second one for the office...
