Underfoot Comfort
The foam midsole and Max Air unit in the heel provide cushioning with every step.
Flexible Stability
The integrated traction pattern ensures excellent grip in various conditions. The new design draws inspiration from the iconic waffle-patterned outsole of the original Nike Air Max 90.
The Origin of Nike Air Max
The revolutionary Air unit technology began to be used in Nike shoes in 1978. In 1987, the Air Max 1 was introduced for the first time with visible Air unit technology in the heel, allowing fans of the model not only to feel but also to see the cushioning of the Air unit. Since then, the Air Max shoes of subsequent generations have achieved great success among athletes and collectors, thanks to the stunning color combinations and reliable, lightweight cushioning.
