Description

This book will serve as a valuable aid for understanding, deepening, and revising all the topics that the student will encounter in the Physics course of the 3rd Grade of High School in the Positive Studies Orientation Group. It contains a large number of topics, as well as a revision proposal for each chapter separately, in the form of steps, aimed at helping the candidate better manage their study of this specific subject.

Each chapter consists of four subsections named topic 1, topic 2, topic 3, and topic 4, exactly as they appear in the Panhellenic Exams.
Topic 1: Contains multiple-choice and true-false questions similar to the questions of the 1st topic of the Panhellenic Exams. With these questions, the student will test their knowledge of the school book theory and delve into the details of the theory and exercises.
Topic 2: Contains development and judgment questions, aimed at preparing the student to correctly answer the questions of the 2nd topic of the Panhellenic Exams.
Topic 3: Contains exercises and problems similar to those of the 3rd topic and in many cases the 4th topic of the Panhellenic Exams. These problems are written with the aim that the student, after thorough study, can answer any question of the 3rd and 4th topic of the Panhellenic Exams.
Topic 4: Contains complex problems, which in some cases are of increased difficulty.
For all the questions, exercises, and problems, there are detailed solutions at the end of the book - as the student should formulate them in the Panhellenic Exams.

Excellent book for a solid review. The author's suggestion on how to solve the exercises is very good. At several points it is a difficult book, but it serves its purpose perfectly. I would highly recommend it for students who have studied hard all year and want to finish their preparation with something challenging and good.

Very good. The only negative thing is the high price and the fact that it doesn't have theory and examples, so you are forced to get another aid

This review is about a variation of the product

Hello, this particular book may be the best one someone can get in order to have an organized and complete review. However, it should be noted that it is much more difficult than the others, and if someone manages to solve a large number of exercises from it, then all the other exercises from other resources, as well as from school, will seem trivial to them. As one of the top physics students, I struggled a lot in several parts, but the process of sitting down and solving the exercise, or even searching for similar and simpler exercises, is what ultimately helped me understand the concept of the exercise in a deeper way. I want to emphasize that this book indeed has crazy exercises and is not for the average 15-16 year old physics student who will give up in 10 minutes. Some exercises may take you half a day to solve on your own, but then you will never get stuck again. Also, although it is a physics book, it is only addressed to students in the science stream, as it requires derivatives, so if you are in the humanities stream, honestly don't bother, find an easier book for your level and get that one (in general, know that any book by Panagiotakopoulos is only for the science stream). In summary, this book is not for everyone, it is only for those who have dedicated themselves to physics in previous years and have a clear and systematic study. The exercises are more difficult than anything you have seen before, and in all the topics it covers, they are quite specialized. If you are one of those who have a passion for physics, I sincerely recommend it because, although you will struggle to solve all the exercises here and you will think you know nothing, as soon as you see exercises from other books (other resources or school), you will think they are really easy. Tip: the book has chapters on physics and deals with each one separately, but there are also combined exercises, for example in oscillations you will need to have also studied momentum. The book divides the exercises in each chapter into review exercises and deepening exercises. Having worked with this book a lot, I suggest you read and do the chapters in the order they are presented, and more specifically, do it like this: (1) read the theory of the chapter, from other books or resources (only in the part you want to review, not all at once) (2) Now go to the book you got and do several, but not all, of the review exercises from the chapter you just read. (3) Then do some, but not all, of the deepening exercises. It is also good to have a pencil and erase each exercise you have finished on the initial page where it lists which exercises to do, so that you don't get confused. (4) Do these 3 steps for each chapter, IN THE ORDER THEY ARE PRESENTED IN THE BOOK! And then, once you finish each chapter, you can start choosing random exercises that you haven't done or that you got stuck on before, and do them. I recommend choosing random topics from each chapter so that you can create a mini test.

This review is about a variation of the product

Steady value for the physical editions of Savalas and especially Panagiotakopoulos. His aids (along with Mathioudakis') do not include any exams or repetitive exercises, but this book covers that gap. I believe that these exercises could be included in the basic aids of the two volumes, so that there is no need for a parent to buy three aids for physics. However, as an aid, it is the top in its genre.

Excellent and also great for revision. I recommend you to also check out the reissue of the first volume for Grade 3 of high school, it is also an excellent work, helpful for both students and teachers
