In this volume, selected poems by G. Kotzioulas from 1928-1942 have been compiled. It is the period when Kotzioulas meets and interacts with poets of the so-called "generation of the '30s" and the previous one. He also puts his own stamp and personal style on the poetic scene of the time.

A variety of themes! Love, disappointments, social struggles, expectations, and hopes. "Faces" both public and ordinary people, urban and rural, parade with Kotzioulas' pen, sometimes glorifying, praising, and other times satirical or mournful. Tradition, both in form and in the use of language and speech, is an essential element of Kotzioulas' poetry and, renewed and light, covers the poems of this volume with its veil.
