"Educational Psychology" is a branch of psychology that has experienced significant development in many countries around the world in recent decades. It is one of the most applied branches of psychology and is directly connected to the everyday school reality. It involves providing services to students of all ages (preschool, primary, and secondary education), to systems and organizations involved in children's education, to families seeking help in dealing with school performance and children's adaptation issues at home and school, to educators, parents, and other adults aiming to enhance their skills for the development of quality relationships and the creation of a positive climate that promotes development and learning, as well as to institutions and organizations aiming, on the one hand, to promote mental health and children's health and, on the other hand, to enhance the learning process.

This book is a comprehensive introductory manual on the subject of educational psychology and aims to cover part of the significant gap in Greek literature. It also aspires to contribute to the effort of developing the field and to future directions for expanding the psychological services provided in Greek schools, with a particular focus on psychological dialectical counseling, primary and secondary prevention intervention programs, and organizational changes at the system level.
