I bought it to wirelessly connect my laptop to the sound system (Logitech z5500) so that I wouldn't have another cable on my desk and a protruding plug dangerously in front of the laptop.
The sound is decent, not bad, but not the same quality as the laptop's sound card.
The problem with the device is that it disconnects from Bluetooth on its own after a period of inactivity, so I can't keep it in permanent standby mode to automatically connect to the laptop when I open it (like I do with the Bluetooth speakers I have at work).
The worst part is that once it disconnects, it doesn't accept reconnection from the laptop even if I disconnect/reconnect the device to the power. The only way to reconnect it to the laptop is to completely delete the device from the laptop and search and pair again.
Positive that it is powered by USB and does not need to be charged. I use it in the car and it has been very convenient, I have not experienced any interruptions even though I am usually inside the car, at some point the Bluetooth even caught on when the car was far away on the road
Very good sound even though it uses a simple Bluetooth SBC connection standard. Initially, I bought it for the car but eventually found a permanent place connected to my Yamaha amplifier for wireless music playback from my phone - and it really saved me a lot of hassle! It is stable in its operation, without disconnections and drop-outs. I recommend it to anyone who wants to add Bluetooth capability to an older amplifier (you will need a male Stereo RCA to female 3.5mm jack cable for connection to the amplifier's analog input - not to the Phono) but of course also in the car, as long as you have a 3.5mm AUX jack input on the radio/CD and a USB port for power supply.
