Marina narrates her story one afternoon, when an early rain brought darkness to the city. Back on the island, a cycle that refuses to close keeps her captive, while space and time dance around her, returning again and again to the same point. The almond tree in the garden of her parental home, which remains steadfast, as if it is the center of that cycle, the center of her own universe, blooms in winter and withers reactively in summer.
From childhood traumas to difficult adulthood, from the Junta to the dawn of the new millennium, from Symi to the Greek capital, every relationship and every emotion will be tested under adverse conditions. They will experience distances, losses, and harsh winters.
