I got it purely out of interest in the Chinese language, which I have been studying on my own sporadically. Having browsed through and read various chapters, I can say that it is really well-written, easy to understand (even for Greeks) and unique in its kind, as Chinese grammars, especially in Greek, are almost nonexistent. If you are learning Chinese, I believe it is necessary. However, be careful, as it says in the title, it is a grammar book and not a book for learning from scratch, so it should be combined with some other source.

Even things that native speakers do not know or pay attention to, and certainly cannot explain!!! For example, the very important grammatical phenomenon "是...的" or the infamous "了"!
You understand that this is a teacher/author with incredible knowledge and years of experience in learning the Chinese language and can excellently convey her knowledge IN a book!!!

In this book, one also discovers grammar phenomena and other various wonderful and very useful things that (GREAT ATTENTION HERE) YOU WILL NOT FIND IN ANY OTHER BOOK!!! It is the ultimate guide to learning the Chinese language for your ENTIRE journey into the world of the Chinese language. You will not need other grammar books for the next 10+ years (for example), because, having read many grammar books from famous foreign books (+ this Greek author "Konstantinos Tsichlas" who has created a masterpiece... and I paid 30 euros for it back then!!!!), it is the only one that is so comprehensive and almost reaches perfection!!!
