Once again, Xiaomi did not disappoint me. I come from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, so the difference is huge. I was a bit hesitant at first since there were no reviews here for me to have any positives and negatives before buying it. Nevertheless, I bought it and so far I have not regretted it. I received the phone on 27/3, so I cannot have a full opinion. However, I will mention some things that I liked.
1) Speakers & Dolby Atmos:
The Dolby feature is a very nice detail. It gives you the ability to activate it and choose the level while you are in the video, game, or movie. The phone has two speakers that play simultaneously. One next to the charging port and one next to the audio jack. The sound is very powerful.
2) 67W charging:
It charges quite fast and I did not expect it. I had in mind that it would charge like all other phones with 67W. I do not know what Xiaomi has done here, but it works wonders on this issue.
3) Battery:
Quite satisfactory. I worked on the phone for about 4 hours installing applications and software updates. The battery dropped significantly but not excessively. Let's assume that it dropped from 66% to 45%. So I am fully satisfied with this part.
4) Camera:
I do not have a big opinion on this issue because I do not deal with it much. Nevertheless, it is satisfactory for an average user.
5) Processor:
It is the reason why I bought the phone. Like the Redmi Note 8 Pro, this one also has a MediaTek processor. At first, I was afraid since I heard many other things, but since I bought the 8 Pro, I started to trust them. As for the MediaTek that this phone has, I cannot have an opinion since I have not used it enough. So I keep a reserve.
6) Construction:
Very sturdy. It is not one of the lightest phones, but it sits quite well in the hand. The cameras protrude significantly, but the problem is solved with the case that Xiaomi provides.
7) Call:
My interlocutor heard me very clearly without any interruption or parasites, as I heard him. The speaker is quite loud, resulting in the interlocutor being heard very well by those around you.
For now, that's all I have to say. I will come back as soon as I have news. For starters, the phone covers me 100% for the use I make of it. However, it will show over time.
It loses network. They don't hear me at all. I can't make calls. I don't have internet data. It shows missed calls later in a message
the battery is simply inadequate it charges quickly but with average use it raises concerns the sim cards are often out of service the hands-free jack suddenly stopped working
2 main problems for which I regret the purchase.
First, the battery drains in 4 hours if you use it (I'm not talking about games, I mean phone calls, browsing, etc.) which for me, as my job involves a lot of phone use, makes the phone useless.
Second, it has no signal at all; the area where I live is generally problematic, but I've never had such a big issue, dropping calls while I'm talking to a client as if I entered the subway, or not getting any signal at all while other phones with the same carrier do.
Overall, I made a completely wrong purchase; the phone runs well and has a good camera, etc., but these 2 important functions are worthless.
Purchased in September 2023, within less than a month it started losing signal, calls were coming as messages, etc. I put the SIM card in my old phone and due to negligence, the phone went for service in January. They changed the charging board and there was no discussion about replacement. Again, due to negligence, I started using it in March where within a week it did the same thing again. I was slow to take it to service because I didn't want to go through the same process. I finally took it in July where they changed the charging board again, and sent it back to us in a package. Now I started using it immediately and in less than 1 week it ended up in service once again. Once again, they did not contact me, even though I requested it. The phone comes back repaired again. I hope I didn't throw 220€ in the trash and that it will be replaced
If I could, I wouldn't put any stars, it's a stupid mobile phone and half an hour especially the camera whatever you believe you find a mobile phone with a much better camera with less money I regret buying it
The worst. It constantly loses its signal and then freezes and can't find it again. You have to restart it and sometimes it doesn't work. The most wasted money I have ever spent.
Real value for money and excellent quality compared to the highly advertised and unreasonably expensive competition.
It is not worth the money in any case. The processor is incredibly slow, especially in the camera, and without much use of graphics... Never again Mediatek!
I cannot say, it is worth as a mobile phone, just better to get the 8gb/256gb because the memory does not get stuck and does not fill up easily
6 months purchased and in use unfortunately it developed a problem with the signal. I had two SIM cards inside and constantly one of them would lose signal and the whole phone would lag. Even after fixing the SIM, the same problem continued and now it's happening with the second SIM card as well. With mobile data on, suddenly it loses signal and disconnects. It's a shame, it's not worth the 230€.
Reliable! Great value for money!
For average use in all options, it's worth the money and more!
Average photo quality and especially video, but smooth operation both in browsing and in applications - games!
I got it in August, awesome phone, worth its money, now it's free, I've had it for 7 months with a lot of use and it has never stuck.. extremely fast, charges in 45 minutes and with a lot of use it lasts a day and a half, what else do you want, otherwise 2 days. Amazing performance in photos and videos, also perfect colors on the screen with a Samsung equivalent in its category which is more expensive. The Redmi Note 12 Pro is much better, this one is the best in its category
I have had the phone for 20 days and from the second day I started using it, it loses its signal. When someone calls me, I can't hear them and many times they can't hear me either. It is the most useless phone I have ever had, I do not recommend it at all, it's a waste of money
The phone has a crazy problem with calls, FAR AWAY! It has been driving me crazy, I've had it for 4 months and I want to break it. Many times when I make a call, they can't hear me. Sometimes I can't hear them, it makes a very low whistle that if you have good hearing you can hear it and then at worst, the signal completely disappears. It doesn't connect unless you restart it or wait 2-3 minutes. I am disappointed, I will not buy Xiaomi again.
It lags constantly to a degree that doesn't hinder its use. For example, Google Maps lags frequently. The fingerprint sensor on the sides works about 7/10 times. Chrome rarely lags, but in my opinion, it shouldn't at all. Various other apps like Spotify freeze occasionally. The phone is a pro version and costs around two and a half hundred, so it shouldn't lag. The photos are average, and the videos are mediocre to bad. The battery is satisfactory. I should add that the fingerprint sensor is the same button that opens the phone, which confuses the situation when you just want to check the time, for example. It does its job quite satisfactorily for an average user like myself, but as I mentioned earlier, I believe it shouldn't have the flaws I mentioned.
Good battery with relatively fast charging, good camera even in low light conditions for its price. The only negative aspect so far for the money I paid (around 230 €) is its large size
The battery drains quickly if you have Bluetooth or navigation open without using them. The biggest issue I have after 2 months of having it is that it doesn't connect to the Peugeot 208 car screen via USB android auto. Does anyone have a similar problem?
Unfortunately, with the purchase of the mobile phone, I received a defective product, but I was given a new one with not very good sound.
I have had it for 2 months now and I can't say that I am satisfied. I find my previous phone, Redmi Note 8 Pro, to be much better. Although this one has more storage space, a better processor, and is generally superior technologically, I notice that it lags and the camera as well as the applications lag, even with very light usage, while they are always updated with the latest upgrades. I have had to restart it countless times and we are talking about a brand new phone. If it does this now, what will happen over time? The battery charges very quickly, but its durability is not that great. For the same price, I might have preferred to get a different model.
Two years ago I bought the poco x3 pro for 250 euros, today after 2 years updates have stopped and I decide to go for the top of the line for the money, the 12 note pro.... I don't know what to say.... the two-year-old phone has better performance than the current one... The processor it has is not even equal, but inferior to the two-year-old phone.... As time goes by, phones should increase in performance and here we see the exact opposite.... Of course, I will not buy it, I will wait for the 13.
I have had this mobile phone for about 5 months and it has impressed me. Its battery hasn't made a great impression on me, but apart from that, everything else about it is perfect. It is beautiful. The speakers are very good and its screen is amazing. Perhaps the best phone in its category and I highly recommend it, it is fantastic and offers great value for money
The mobile phone, besides having a relatively good appearance in terms of design, the rest of the materials it has are very low in durability. I must say that with the use of a screen protector, the screen broke with the first drop to the point where it needs replacement. Not to mention the issue it has with the signal, it doesn't catch if you are inside a house. Let's not forget that the battery, from the first days of the mobile phone, drains as if it's a Ferrari engine inside a smart car, it constantly needs charging. The positives are that it has a very good speaker with good sound quality, but otherwise, it's not worth its money, stay away from it
Extreme charging speed
If you had any other Redmi, this one is exactly what you expect, the same phone you had before, just better. For the price range it is in, it is a very good choice. Bonus points for the dual speakers, which are quite loud and of good quality
I had bought it when it came out for 400 euros, at the price it is now it is literally a steal.
Visually it is not something special but...
Incredible AMOLED screen, smooth experience at 120 Hz refresh rate, extremely fast in whatever the average user does, browsing, multitasking.
A very decent camera at 200 MP.
The battery life could be a little better but it doesn't bother, the lightning-fast charging at 67 W makes your life a little easier.
We are talking about a fantastic mobile phone that in other times we would have paid much more to acquire.
At 240 it plays completely on its own
After almost a month of having it as a mobile phone, it's okay, I don't see a big difference from the Note9 Pro. Okay, good screen and speaker, the jack could be on the bottom instead of the top, good photos. The problem is the battery, it can't handle moderate social media usage, the battery drops 5% after 5 minutes on FB. With the Android upgrade, you can no longer disable VOLTE and there is no longer an option to choose which network to use. I always had it on 2G since it always had better signal, and if I needed data, I would switch to 4G. Now it only has 2 options: 2G/3G/4G and 2/3/4/5G, and as a result, the phone constantly tries to find a signal, which probably contributes to the fast battery drain. If you go on a trip and won't have access to electricity, bring a couple of power banks with you. Okay, the charger charges it quickly, but with daily charging, I'm not sure if it will last a year.
After reading reviews here, I decided to buy it.
+Amazing screen
+Sound (I would like a little more)
+Fast, very fast, I open heavy applications and they play simultaneously.
+Does not heat up (I have it in the sun in front of the car, there to sunbathe!! It has some glitches of course, but that's it)
-Forget about fast charging and various other things. In order to charge quickly, everything must be closed!! If you play simultaneously, it does not charge quickly, it takes unbelievably long!!! From 70% to 100%, it may take an hour. The battery lasts about 8-10 hours continuously open with data and GPS.
It needs to be charged every day, personally I charge it twice a day because I use it heavily.
Very good, everything is excellent for the use I want, I just expected the battery to last longer!
Otherwise, it is affordable, with very good capabilities! Let's hope the next model doesn't consume battery so quickly!
