Wozinsky WWCGM1 GaN wall charger with USB and USB Type C ports that supports fast charging. Ideal for charging mobile devices: smartphones, tablets, headphones, or smartwatches.
The charger has two outputs (USB and USB C) that allow simultaneous power supply to two devices. It supports fast charging compatible with many protocols, including QC 3.0, PD, and PPS.
It contains enhanced protection against overcharging, overvoltage, and overheating.
GaN technology offers greater charging efficiency and reduces the size of the device. Ideal for travel as it is small and lightweight.
With the Wozinsky WWCGM1, you can charge various devices, such as phones, tablets, and Bluetooth speakers, safely and efficiently, adjusting the appropriate voltage to the specific devices.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
In no case does it provide 65 watts, nor 50, nor even 35 watts. Barely 25 to 30 watts with one port always connected... So the description is misleading and this is UNACCEPTABLE
I have a previous model of the same company's QC 3.0 and I have been quite satisfied. Unfortunately, in this one, even though it is GaN technology, the simultaneous-parallel charging with 33W per output does NOT APPLY as the company claims in the product description: With it, you can simultaneously charge, for example, a phone and a smartwatch, or a tablet and a Bluetooth speaker. Each of the ports can charge with a power of up to 33 W (the total power of the charger is 65 W) blah-blah! And below it lists the specifications: QC 3.0 (USB-A): 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A and PD (Type-C): 5V/6.6A, 9V/3A, 12V/2.75A, 20V/1.67A which automatically contradicts the claims of 65W, not even cumulatively for Quick Charge + Power Delivery... It could be 65W in total if the PD port provided 20V/2.3A max (46W). So, reading the "simultaneously" and "Each of the ports can charge with a power of up to 33 W" without checking the other details, I ordered 3 pieces.
In practice, it charges up to 20W from the USB-A port (QC 3.0), nothing special, but it charges up to 33W from the USB Type-C (PD) port and according to my test from the USB Type-C, it comfortably charged a 2020 MacBook Air 13" A1932 at 30W, just like the Apple charger that is 20V/1.5A 30W, which is quite significant. However, when I tried to charge a smartphone with Quick Charge simultaneously in the USB-A port, it switched to regular - slow charging in both ports. When I removed the MacBook from the Type-C, after 5-10 seconds, it switched back to fast charging the smartphone in the USB-A.
Based on simple logic, the nominal power is 30-33W max, which is shared through the load management circuit in its 2 ports. The 65W does not come from anywhere! It charges with 18-20W from the USB-A and with 30-33W from the Type-C but NOT SIMULTANEOUSLY, so the charger's power for SIMULTANEOUS CHARGING from both ports is definitely not 65W, not even 50W, ending up at 33W max, which is also not proven in practice because it couldn't even charge 2 smartphones simultaneously in Quick Charge mode, one in each port, or one in Quick Charge and the other in slow charging simultaneously. After a 2-minute confusion while charging one and then the other successively, it ends up charging both smartphones with regular-slow charging, while with only 1 smartphone on it, it charges it in Quick Charge mode either in the USB-A or Type-C and unfortunately INTERRUPTS fast charging ANYTHING small and insignificant you try to charge in the other port!
Of course, it is worth its money (7€) when the equivalent Apple A1882 with a single USB Type-C (PD) port costs around 50€. There is also the POWERTECH PT-1092 QC USB-A + PD USB-C, 30W (GaN) for 8-9€ which is equivalent in performance/capabilities. I don't know if it will continue to work or if Apple will forcefully block it with some trick, but for now, it seems to work fine.
In conclusion, it is a very good choice for those who want to have a 2-in-1 charger with 7-8€, with up to 20W QC + up to 33W PD, which means up to 53W in total but NOT SIMULTANEOUSLY! However, it is quite affordable, so I deduct only 1 star instead of -3 stars that it should have, meaning 1 for the "simultaneously", 1 for the "Each of the ports can charge with a power of up to 33 W" and another 1 for the self-contradictory "65W" printed on its surface...
