"Every praise is defeated"! With these three words of the sacred space, the bulky and honorable collection of the written work of my beloved and foremost student, Professor Kyriakos Th. Nikolaou-Patragas, is captured. Three simple words that encompass the essence of a literary, scientific, activist, and diverse activity, which, as I hope, and as I judge from the signs that are now apparent, manifest and distinct, will succeed in subduing time. I believe that my dear student established Islamic and broader Arabic studies in Greece and, moreover - and this was fortunate - from the beginning in a methodical and methodologically appropriate manner so that from their inception they do not present the pathological symptoms of orientalism, which have so greatly harmed this field internationally.
