The book:
This book, which is the result of the author's many years of teaching experience, is aimed at both third-year high school students of the theoretical direction and their philologist teachers.
Its purpose is to better prepare candidates so that they can cope without difficulty in the exams that are critical for their future.

The structure of each chapter is as follows:
- Initially, the Latin text and its translation are presented.
- The Grammar Tables of the Lesson follow. The tables present all the inflected words of the Latin text each time, even if we have encountered them in previous chapters.
- After the Lesson's Grammar Tables, Grammar Notes follow. Here, various grammatical phenomena are highlighted, e.g., how verbs in -io of the 3rd conjugation are declined, etc., topics that have already been covered in the second year of high school.
- In the Syntax Notes that follow, all the syntactic phenomena encountered for the first time are presented in summary and in tables by chapter.
- The main part of the book is, of course, the Exercises, which are divided into Grammar Exercises, Syntax Exercises, and Advanced Exercises. In the last category, there are exercises that require knowledge of phenomena encountered in subsequent chapters for their solution. Therefore, these exercises can only be solved by students who have completed the study of the entire third-year high school curriculum. Integrated into the exercises are the topics of the National Exams from 2000 to 2013. In some exercises, the note: (attention) follows when the exercise presents some "trap" or peculiarity, and the student should be particularly careful.
- After the Exercises, texts from the history and culture of the Romans follow. Taking advantage of persons or events mentioned in the text, we present details, often anecdotal, of prominent Romans or texts related to life in the Roman era. These texts are usually translations (by the author) of excerpts from the work of the Frenchman Charles Francois Lhomond, "De viris illustribus urbis Romae."
- At the end of the book, the Answers to the Exercises follow.
