Beautiful shoe, comfortable and great for walking. They lasted 4 months before they opened on the side, before the shoe started tearing. I wore them 3-4 times a week for walking (not in rough terrain). The nice thing is that my friend bought the exact same shoe and had the exact same issue after 5 months!!! We paid €80 to have shoes for only a few months??? With €30 I can get decent shoes that last 2-3 years and still find them of low quality. Disgraceful and shameful. NEVER again Salomon. NEVER
I have had them for about a month. So far, I used to buy adidas terrex and I decided to try these salomon for a change. After all, Salomon Group was acquired by adidas in 1997. I bought them for everyday use and light hiking.
a) In terms of size, they have a wider fit compared to the corresponding terrex. With the Salomon shoes, I am closer to my size, which is 44 2/3 (28cm).
b) In my opinion, they are very comfortable shoes and so far I have covered about 150-200 km without any discomfort.
c) Their price is fair (I bought them for 79€), considering that they are also GTX. So far, I haven't had any issues with water, my feet remained dry (although I didn't submerge them in a lake, of course).
So far, I am satisfied and the construction seems to be of good quality. Generally, soles with such grip require a bit of caution on wet tiles, but keeping that in mind, I haven't encountered any issues with this particular shoe. I hope they will withstand the test of time. I recommend them.
Finally, I would like to add that I find adidas shoes in the same category, which are priced over 100€, to be less comfortable.
